About this space Lakefront Vintage Home with Hot Tub and Dock The space Casa de Cozumel is a beautiful vintage Lakefront Home on Clear Lake just one hour north of the Napa Valley and 3 hours north of San Francisco. The entire home is available and sleeps 12. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with tiled baths, Living Room with futon, library area with poker table, piano and panoramic views from the Living Room and Formal Dining Room (seats 8). Fully equipped kitchen with Granite countertops and Stainless Steel appliances. The lower floor is a family room, with pool table, wetbar (efficiency kitchenette), 2 futon couches (1 with privacy curtains) 1 private bedroom with queen bed and twin chair bed. Shared full bath off family room. There is a separate entrance to the outside and access to the sun deck, spa , bbq , firepit, dining table and lounge chairs and deck furniture. There is an additional outdoor kitchen area with apt. size refer and stove. The home has a new Split System AC unit with separate controls for the living room, upstairs bedroom and living room. There is a portable ac unit in the Lakeside bedroom.
The sun deck is the hub of this home with a 6 seater spa, sun loungers, bbq, fire pit and dining table and panoramic views of Mount Konocti and the vineyards above Jago Bay. There is a private boat dock. The dock is equipped with mooring whips, two fishing chairs and rod holders. It can accommodate a boat up to 22'. We have one tandem kayak and a SUP available for our guests and you are welcome to bring your own kayaks, canoes and PWC. There is no launch ramp onsite. Closest public ramp is a RedBud Park n the City of Clarlake. Guest access Entire private lakefront home. Self check-in Other things to note Lake Water Quality We are expecting that we will have higher than normal lake levels this year. We do have deep water in front of our dock so keeping a boat tied to the dock is feasible even into late summer. We are in the main lake so water quality tends to be better than properties located in channels or coves. During the summer months (July -Sept) there may be an Algae Bloom making it unadvisable to swim directly off the dock, however it is usually clear with 20".

Memorial Day weekend stay at Clearlake W/Friends and Family
Besides losing my phone, everything turned out really good. I will definably stay here again. If i had to say anything that would have made our stay a little bit better will be if we had access to a washer and dryer. Also, couldn't find the vacuum cleaner. I would have liked to have access to some big steel spoons not just plastic. Otherwise, everything worked out fine.

Monti, thank you for staying with us and your review. For the future, the washer and dryer is in the closet in the downstairs bathroom. Also, the vacuum is in the upstairs linen closet. Im pretty sure there are large metal spoons in both kitchens. If you have questions like this during your stay please don't hesitate to call or text us.

We have been hosting our home to families off and on for 20 years and have owned the home for over 30 years. We are both retired and are now able to travel all over the world, so we make our home available during those times. We are anxious to hit the road for the summer of 2024!
What makes this property unique
This is a special house with alot of history. This custom home was built in 1942 by the Clearlake Park Post master making it one of the oldest homes in the area. This 2 story home is built directly on the lake so the views are unobstructed, The home has alot of 1940s charm including cathedral redwood ceilings in the living room plus 10' ceilings in the two upstairs bedroom. There are hardwood and tiled floors throughout. The bathrooms are tile (2 of 3 are newly remodeled). The living room is spacious with a library and game area, piano and 50" smart tv. Panoramic picture windows overlooking the lake. There is a formal Dining room that seats 8 comfortably. Off of the dining room is a lovely outside covered terrace with a dining table that seats 6, a bbq, a futon couch with a mosquito net making it usable as a bed in the summer time. Speaking of mosquitos there are none. There are some gnats that don't bite but are attracted by light. The terrace is a great place to enjoy some meals, just read a book or take a nap. Downstairs there is a family room with pool table, wetbar, fireplace and locked wine cellar (sorry access is limited to our family). There are two futon couches, one having a curtain making it a private sleeping space. There is also a lakeside bedroom with separate entrance and a full tile and marble bathroom. There is access to the sundeck area via an iron circular staircase re-purposed from a theatre. There is an additional enclosed outside kitchen making it convenient for meal prep on the sundeck.....its just a cool house.
