A very convenient place to stay if you're going into Rocky Mountain National Park (I think 1-2 miles from the Fall River Entrance). Mountain views; not on the river. Air conditioning was a huge blessing, since the temps were in the upper 90's while we were there. The code for the door lock never did work, but there was a key in a box next to the door that worked just fine. The smoke detector by the door was flashing red during our stay- need to change batteries? Didn't like that the only sink was the kitchenette sink. Overall I think it was overpriced; but we were comfortable and did enjoy our stay.

Cabin was a clean older cabin. But there was only four Keurig pods for the both of us for three mornings. They said in the description if you needed more you would have to bring your own. CHEAP! I told the host our smoke alarm needed a new battery as the test button was not working. He answered with, “ why, do you think the cabin is going to burn down?” I wish I would’ve thought to reply, “it doesn’t matter as it’s the law to have working smoke alarms”. He immediately fetched a new 9volt from the office. On the second morning it was still cold at 61 degrees and the thermostat was flashing “replace batteries”. About 9:00 am I called and left a message explaining such. Early afternoon the hostess tried to walk by without even greeting me (I was right in front on the deck). After she was by I asked her if they had got my message. She said yes but they were busy with a chamber meeting at their restaurant/tavern and he would bring new batteries. About five o’clock he walked up to the deck with the batteries, handed them to me and said he had eight cabins to maintain ya know. Bad attitude - won’t stay there again or recommend it.

Very clean and well kept. Easy to find and check in. Very close to Estes downtown and park entrance. Likely my fault for not reading closely enough but I was expecting a cabin with a hot tub which I didn’t realize this unit didn’t have until after I booked. The price seems high for what it was but it was a holiday weekend and in a pricey neighborhood. Internet was week but it was week in many places in the mountains so may not be able to be helped. Communication was excellent.

6/10 Okay

Good location. Electronic lock hard to open, so need physical key. The fact that there is no bathroom sink and you have to use the kitchen sink was “hidden.”
