We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and very spacious, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and fields. There were plenty of games and activities for the kids and the whole family to enjoy, which was a great added touch.Communication with the host was fantastic. They were very responsive, and the few minor issues we encountered were addressed promptly and professionally.We highly recommend this property and truly enjoyed our stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit and would absolutely rent this property again!

The house was a wonderful, family-friendly place for our stay. Our party of 11 was extremely comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. Both the home and the yard were beautifully maintained, and the host was gracious and welcoming. The views were absolutely phenomenal and made our stay even more special. We enjoyed our time so much that we already rebooked for another stay later this year. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful place to stay and an awesome host

We love this place, and the host! We use this home as a work retreat, and it's been comfortable, clean and exceeded expectations in every way. Sarah is an outstanding host, and it always attentive to our needs.

Great for family retreats!

Beautiful location and property and home. Great place for a family vacation of all ages! Fun games of pickleball and backs up to a nice public golf course. Everything we needed to cook our own meals, including a fire pit for s’mores! Host very responsive to questions.

The access to the house was so easy and my family (with college age children) really enjoyed the pickle ball game. The wifi was perfect for game playing (one person brought their "switch" Mario Cart. So lots of fun and laughter. A wonderful place for a Thanksgiving gathering.

Our family had an incredible stay at this property. The open space gave our children plenty of room to run around, play baseball, and simply enjoy being outdoors. The garage pickleball setup was a huge hit and kept the kids entertained while the parents cooked and prepared for the Penn State–Marshall tailgate.Although the property is outside State College, that was exactly what we wanted. It offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of game-day crowds while still providing convenient access to restaurants, grocery stores, and everything we needed for the weekend.One of the highlights was the beautiful open sky. Our children spent Saturday night looking at the stars and were thrilled to catch a few shooting stars something they continued talking about during our trip home.The property offered the right combination of space, recreation, convenience, and tranquility. After such a fun-filled weekend, our families have already discussed making this trip and hopefully this property a yearly tradition.We highly recommend it for families attending a Penn State weekend or simply looking for a peaceful place to reconnect and create lasting memories.Martin N.Virginia Beach, Virginia

spacious farmhouse nestled among corn fields and mountains

Expansive, well-kept farmhouse with mountain views and flanked by cornfields. Well laid-out interior with thoughtful furnishings. Everyone in our group of 16 covering three generations enjoyed the stay. Best choice for a countryside getaway for a large group of people.

Fantastic stay!!!! Not one person complained about 1 thing.

Home was a little dated but everything functioned well. It was warm and cozy. Everyone had a fantastic time. There was absolutely no complaints from anyone. The one thing that had everyone upset was we had to leave!!!!

Luxury in rural central PA!

Wonderfully constructed property with great view of the area. Inside amenities reflects that of a high end residence. As we checked out, my wife accidentally left her phone. The owner was very helpful and supportive of mailing the phone back to us. Her actions alone warrants a five star rating!

Excellent!

Sarah was a great host. I took my work team here for a planning retreat. 5 of us were not crowded and we had an great time. Sarah left us a tray of whoopie pies to enjoy. The place is huge, unique and comfortable. Her husband replaced the dryer while I was there and I immensely enjoyed a conversation with him. Super nice people, and we even got to see their farming practices in action. Despite interacting with the owners in person, I found this not at all invasive. They were respectful and asked permission. I will 100% book this place again. Not just for the accommodations, but for the incredibly amazing hospitality.
