Perfect for our two night stay for a fishing tournament on Lake Martin. Very close to Wind Creek State Park. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 3 guests. Quiet residential area.

I will start with the positives-the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The bedrooms however were not. The sheets had not been laundered as there was debris and hair at the foot of all the beds. The entire house smelled of stale cigarette smoke. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. I stripped the beds to wash the sheets and found a badly stained mattress and a flea in one of the bedrooms. My daughter had flea bites the next morning and we left after one night of a planned three night stay.

Cozy lake getaway

We enjoyed our stay at your house! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened in porch as fantastic with a great view of the lake.The location was super being close to Alex City and Wind Creek state park. We look forward to visiting again!

The house and yard are pet friendly, but we have no pets. There are nice neighbors and some rough neighbors with bad dogs. Don't let people come in Peppers Road, they need to come in Wind Creek Farm Road, and turn on Farm Loop Road by bad dogs. The other way has a creek crossing, gravel road, and really bad dogs that attacked our car. The house was very nice and served our purpose to attend a local event. Plenty of parking. Very clean and everything you needed to stay away for a while. Internet and phone service was good in that remote area.

Great little house just off the lake

Would have been great to have a boat slip near by. If you stay at this property, just know you can get a slip rent at Wind Creek Park from just over $15 a night. This house was the perfect little lake house with a fenced in yard for our golden doodle. The VRBO fees made this over $500 for one night. It made the value of the stay seem way too expensive for the size and location.

Moms 60th Birthday

Love the doggie door and fenced in backyard.Quiet location, we didn't go to the water because we didn't know the intended access point for this rental. It appeared the only access to the water was on someone else property, so we lounged around for a much needed 3 days.Regardless we had fun and cooked A LOT

Nice Place to Stay

House was clean, well-furnished and very comfortable. Part of yard is steep - our quads got a workout - but it was well-kept. Beware: do not use Peppers Road to get to house if it has been raining. Road was closed due to high water over road. Use Wind Creek Farm Road.
