Crooked Creek Lodge

You will fall in love with the rustic charm and cozy atmosphere of this vacation and horse property located on approximately 5 acres just outside of Nemo, South Dakota. The property offers stunning views and ample space for you to relax, pets to roam and board your horses. The property provides corrals, indoor stalls and hay to accommodate your horses. There is also a hookup for your horse trailer or RV available upon request. Please contact host for the available fo the extra accommodations.

This spacious lodge features three bedrooms with four total beds, plus a sofa sleeper for additional guests. There are three full bathrooms and one half bath, offering comfort and convenience for groups of all sizes.

Relax and take in the fresh air and scenic views from two covered porch areas, or cozy up in the great room beside the beautiful gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops with ample prep and serving space, making it easy to enjoy meals at home.

An attached two-car garage is included in the nightly rental and provides plenty of room to store all your toys and gear.

The property borders Black Hills National Forest, so there’s no need to haul your ATVs or horses—just step outside and ride. Less than a mile of gravel and you are to miles of highway access throughout the Black Hills for some excellent riding. Box Elder Creek runs through the property and originates upstream near Nemo. Just minutes away at the headwaters is an excellent brook trout stream, also home to brown and rainbow trout. While there’s no official fishing report, relaxation, adventure, and enjoyment are always guaranteed!

Access to the entire lodge with a basic rental agreement. Access to the barn with an additional rental add-on. An add-on for the RV hook ups also available.

Will not be in person, unless requested by the guests or required for set up. Local and available through this platform or by phone as needed.

A pet fee will apply to dogs that will stay inside the home at $100/dog. We have a kennel as well as stalls in the barn if needed. For guests bringing dogs who will stay inside the home, an additional cleaning fee will also apply of $100.
Horse boarding can be rented per stall - and arrangements regarding this can be made with the host. Please reach out for additional information.

Pet Rules:

You must register your pets; otherwise, you may be eligible to lose your reservation without a refund for violating this policy.

Our pet rules include the following:
1. Pets are not to be left unattended/ or not kenneled inside the home.
2. Pets are not allowed on the furnishings or beds
3. You clean up after your pets. INSIDE and OUTSIDE.

Failure to follow these will result in additional cleaning fees, laundry fees, and/or replacement fees. By proceeding with your reservation, you are agreeing to the above pet fees and policies.
We welcome up to two dogs inside the home. If you`d like to bring more than two dogs, we can arrange for them to be boarded in the barn, but prior approval is required to provide you with the necessary details and access.

For any other types of animals or pets, approval from management is mandatory. Please note that if you have unapproved pets, your reservation may be canceled without a refund.

All pets are subject to the pet fee.
