Conveniently situated on Bear Mountain, you're just a brief drive (20 mins) from Pigeon Forge, all while relishing the peaceful ambiance of mountain living!

"Sleepy Bear" is the perfect cabin for you and your loved ones to experience a TRUE mountain get-away. Secluded in your own "holler," you can kick back on the porch and take in the sights and sounds of wildlife, while enjoying the peaceful wooded views. In addition, our cabin offers a newly renovated and updated interior, complete with cabin charm and mountain style and all the amenities you need to make your vacation a memorable one!

With new cabin-chic décor, comfortable couches & furniture, 43" flat screen TV, work nook, and free Wi-Fi, you and your guests will be comfortable and relaxed the minute you arrive to Sleepy Bear.

When you walk out onto the deck, you are surrounded by nature and wooded views. Relax on one of the porch chairs and enjoy wildlife viewing as you sip coffee in the morning or a glass of wine (or moonshine!) at the end of the day while stargazing into the mountain sky. As the evening winds down, sink into the bubbling hot tub. Let the warmth of the water and the serene forest ambiance melt away the stresses of everyday life. Complete your day surrounded by the silence of the Smokies. Inside, stay entertained with the 43" screen TV, perfect for that evening movie, or open up a board game to play with the family in front of the fire. Free wifi is also available throughout the cabin.

Complimentary starter toiletries, linens/towels, free WiFi, air conditioning, heat, washer and dryer.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.

Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

• There are baseboard heaters in the two bedrooms to the left.
• Portable heater in the master bedroom to the right.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville are the three main cities that comprise the area. Everything is spread out a bit and there are amazing things to keep you busy...

Sleepy Bear is located on Bear Mountain, which is approximately a 20 minute drive from Pigeon Forge, Splash Country ; Dollywood, and 25-30 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Since our cabin is located in the mountains, expect curvy mountain roads and some steep inclines that can be narrow at times. There are also paved and gravel roads leading to our cabin, and therefore use of motorcycles or trailers is not recommended.

While this is a single level home, there are steps (approx. 8) to get up to the front door.
