Beach Club at Whalehead is a gated community in the middle of it all! Just steps from the ocean, this beautiful resort-style community features a heated pool, poolside cabanas, fitness center, clubhouse, pickleball, and seasonal on-site dining, making it the perfect beachside escape.

The Currituck Lighthouse and historic Whalehead Club are also just a short walk away. We're situated at the last beach access before the 4x4 area, so let down those tires, take in the salt air, and experience the beauty of the wild mustangs running along the beach.

The 1903 Beach Club is a luxury condo that will feel like your home away from home. Named after the Wright Brothers and the year of their first flight in Kitty Hawk, you'll find little pieces of aviation history throughout the condo. Light and airy beach living with tall ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight welcomes you as you step through the door. You'll enjoy comfortable beds and furniture, large Smart TVs, a fully equipped open kitchen with an extra-long kitchen island, and an outdoor grill. Our front porch faces the pool with seating to relax and unwind after a fun day or while you sip your morning coffee.

COMMUNITY AMENITIES
Guests have access to the community pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and other shared amenities.

Pickleball: Courts are available by reservation for an additional fee.

Pool Cabanas: Available for rent seasonally, May–October. Cabanas include a TV, mini fridge, towels, and bottled water.

The Salty Rim: Seasonal on-site food and drinks are available, including poolside delivery when offered.

Arriving Early? You're welcome to enjoy the beach and community amenities before your 4 PM check-in. Access to the condo begins at 4 PM.

EV Charging: The community offers two EV charging stations for guest use.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
Maximum occupancy is 6 people total, including adults, children, and infants.

IMPORTANT BOOKING DETAILS
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must be present for the duration of the reservation.

Animal Free: No animals of any kind are allowed on the premises due to severe owner allergies.

No Smoking or Vaping: No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the condo, on the porch/patio, or immediately outside the unit.

RENTAL AGREEMENT & VERIFICATION
A signed rental agreement is required for all reservations. After booking, we'll send the agreement to the email address listed on your account for digital signature. A government-issued ID for the primary renter is also required to complete this step.

These booking requirements must be completed prior to check-in.

SECURITY
A security camera is located at the front door for the protection of the property and guests. It must remain on and functional during the reservation. Blocking, moving, or tampering with the camera or its connection may result in reservation cancellation. Guests are responsible for applicable replacement costs if the camera is damaged.

WI-FI, APPLIANCES & HOME AMENITIES
This is a privately hosted home rather than a hotel. While we work hard to keep everything in excellent condition, occasional interruptions to Wi-Fi, appliances, community amenities, or other services can occur. If an issue arises during your stay, please let us know and we'll do our best to address it as quickly as possible.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip from unforeseen circumstances.

Refunds or credits are not provided for weather, illness, transportation disruptions, changes in travel plans, community amenity closures, or early departures outside of the cancellation policy.

In the event of a mandatory evacuation specifically affecting paved Corolla, unused nights will be prorated in accordance with the terms of your rental agreement. Evacuations affecting only the 4x4/Carova area or other areas of the Outer Banks do not qualify.
