Amazing
Stunning. We loved it. The perfect end to our US road trip. We spent 4 nights after 2.5 weeks travelling around NYC, New England and Up State New York so we looking to relax. Our stay was by far the highlight of our trip. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable, spotlessly clean with the views and surroundings to die for. It was so relaxing, we instantly felt at home. Everything we needed was provided, including board games for our 9 year old. It was like stepping back in time but in such a good way, retro with all the mod cons. We drove about 30 mins to the supermarket in Margaretville where we found a good range of organic products and simply cooked at the cottage. There's a BBQ and fire pit so made s'mores under the stars. I even baked biscuits (cookies) although the oven took a bit of getting used to - but what baker doesn't have that problem? and it was all part of the fun. We didn't feel the need to go out to restaurants or want to leave the beautiful surroundings of the cottage. We did go to a closer convenience store near the library and found want we needed and the people there helpful and friendly. Paul, the host, was lovely to deal with and very responsive. We would definitely make the trip from London again just to stay here. Thank you so much Paul.
