Hike up creeks towards the waterfalls of Grimes Glen. Follow trails along the magnificent gorge and waterfalls at Letchworth State Park or Watkins Glen. Explore quaint villages, restaurants with home cooking, cafes with gourmet dishes and local wines. Shop for unique crafts by local artists and fresh produce at farmers markets. Tour the Corning Museum of Glass and make your own glass design. Attend the famous Grape Festival in Naples, explore the areas breweries and go on wine tours. I grew up in close by Canandaigua and call it "my happy place". I was fortunate to be able to boat and water ski in the summer and snow ski in the winter at close by Bristol Mountain. Camping and hiking in the beautiful countryside through the years has always been a favorite activity. When driving around the Finger Lakes, I never tire of the amazing views of mountains, lakes and farms. I hope that others, too, discover the magic in this special place.

Why they chose this property

Italy Valley and Naples is one of a kind. The friendly, down to earth people make it a wonderful place to live and visit. Of course, the beauty of the area and endless activities are the "cherry on top"!

What makes this property unique

The house and neighborhood is amazingly quiet. In the morning, it is easy to hear the birds happily singing and flitting around. In the evening, the endless stars are incredibly bright. But what really stands out is the proximity to many wonderful things to do. Being located between Canandaigua and Keuka Lakes, it is easy to go to either. I especially enjoy hiking up trails or creeks and discovering beautiful waterfalls. But what is especially heartwarming are the people - friendly, helpful, down to earth and so kind.
