We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations, but we feel it is important to clarify the facts for future guests. When you reported concerns with the kitchen sink and garbage disposal, we responded immediately by sending our maintenance technician to the property on multiple occasions. Each inspection confirmed that the garbage disposal was functioning properly, and the technician demonstrated its operation. Despite these efforts, the sink became clogged repeatedly during your stay because of the massive amount of food and plastic items you were putting down the sink that was evident each time the plumber came. After checkout, the kitchen drain was found to be completely blocked. The clog was so severe that it required multiple plumbing companies over four days to remove, leaving the property unrentable and requiring us to relocate our next guests. The plumber who ultimately cleared the blockage advised that the obstruction was not consistent with a typical household clog and appeared to have resulted from improper materials being forced into the drain. They showed me pictures of plastic caps, forks, and other items that don't go down a sink. We believe in addressing legitimate issues quickly and fairly. At the same time, we cannot accept responsibility for damage or plumbing blockages caused by improper use of the property. Our long history of positive reviews reflects the level of care and responsiveness that the vast majority of our guests experience.
