Halibut House of Seward Alaska

Your family and friends will enjoy being close to the boat harbor. Whether your sightseeing, sailing, or fishing there`s no need to drive and park you`re just a block away from the boats. Stroll along the waterfront out the front door or hike Mt Marathon out the backdoor if you`ve come for the outdoors it`s right here. The harbor area also has plenty of shopping and dining opportunities.

there are 4 units available. Apt 1 is a three bedroom and sleeps up six with kitchen, dining, and large living room. Apt 2 is a single bedroom and sleeps up to 4 with kitchen, washer/dryer, living area. Apt 3 is a studios which up to 3 and has a kitchen. Apt 4 is a studio that sleeps up to 2. All have private entrances.

All rooms have private entrances and bathrooms. There is a large back porch with two weber grills for all guests to use.

Apartment 2 has two extra beds and apartment 3 has 1 extra bed.
Absolutely NO cooking or cleaning fish in the house. There are several cleaning stations int he harbor and outdoor grills are provided for cooking. This is our only rule and a $250 cleaning fee will be applied and cancellation of reservation.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This was a perfect fit for our trip to Seward! The space was clean and comfortable, we were close to everything, and the whole process was smooth. I would absolutely stay again on another trip. The location can't be beat.

Great place with awesome host!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place with our family of four. House is just as described-great location. He was super accommodating and great with communication, suggestions and assistance! Had a fantastic whale watching boat excursion and greatly enjoyed the Sea Life Center - Ray’s seafood was top-notch. Hope we can make it back to Seward again —it was truly magical!

Halibut House

The listing makes it appear like you are renting the house. In fact, the house is broken down into multiple, very small units connected by doors. The doors are supposed to be secure. One of our party accidentally walked into another occupied unit, startling the occupants. The listing is very misleading.
