We had a wonderful stay at Hibernation Station. This property was everything as advertised and more. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to get an early check in without any issues whatsoever. The property is amazing and we will be back and would recommend it to anyone.
This property was PERFECT for our family. Three separate sleeping areas, a well equipped kitchen, and close proximity to Gatlinburg, GSMNP, and a grocery store made this one of our favorite places.
We had a fun time staying in the cabin. It fit us well. We loved coming back from a hike and getting in the hottub. Location was great! Just a 5 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg.
It was supposed to be my four teenagers, my husband and me going for a family vacation. It ended up being just us adults. We enjoyed ourselves anyway. The house is beautiful! My husband was studying all of it planning for our retirement home. Lol! We will definitely be booking again.
We just left today and we had a blast! The cabin was so nice and clean. Amazing views and great location. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
We had a great stay at the Hibernation Station Cabin! Vicky and Brian were great hosts and very responsive. The downstairs air conditioning unit wasn’t working when we arrived, Brian discovered this on a walk around inspection and seamlessly arranged for it to be fixed during our stay. There was also plenty of room for our family to move around. The basement set up was perfect for all our kids. During the day, we went for hikes in the Smokey mountains in the mornings and then swam in the local pool in the afternoons (which was just a 2 min walk down the hill!). This cabin is close to everything we needed but outside of the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg, which we preferred. Staying here really made our vacation feel like a home away from home!
The rooms were just right. It was nice having bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. The location was perfect for my grandson’s basketball tournament at Rocky Top Sports arena, 5 minutes away. Be prepared for driving up steep hills!
Property was great for our family of 4 with more than enough room for everyone. The property was very clean and the views were amazing! We would definitely stay again if back in the area.
Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. It is close to downtown Gatlinburg and not far from Pigeon Forge. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. The hot tub was a favorite every morning especially on the day it was snowing. We needed to be close to our home in Knoxville because we have 3 kids, 3 and under, so this was the perfect option for us.
A beautiful mountain retreat. We enjoyed the views from all 3 levels. The house is close to everything but on a very quiet road.
The house is stocked with everything you need and is neat as a pin.
This place is a nice mountain cabin with plenty of room and amenities. Even though it's a more recent build, it has an old school charm to it. Having a back porch on each level was really nice, along with the hot tub. Parking size is pretty good considering the small road the place is on. I was able to fit two full-size trucks in the available parking, with one spot still remaining for a smaller vehicle. I definitely would stay here again.
We had a great stay. We’ve been coming to the area for years, but we have never been over Christmas. It was exactly as one imagines Christmas to be in the mountains. The property owners were very responsive. The cabin was fully stocked with all kitchen essentials and has lots of amenities. It is a little steeper than we expected, so we were glad that we didn’t have major winter weather. Other than this, it was fantastic, and we would definitely consider booking in the future.
We had a blast. We were close to everything you can think of. The host was amazing and always responded quickly. We will definitely recommend this host for sure. Thank you Vickie for being such a amazing host to us we appreciate it and will definitely use your cabins in the future. The property manager was great as well he told us places to go because we were kinda clueless lol. The place was extremely clean and smelled good.
We loved our stay at this cabin. The beds were all very comfortable. They have separate thermostats for the bottom and middle floor which is wonderful when you have both cold and warm natured family members. There are multiple living areas and balconies so you don’t feel cramped together. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, there are plenty of extra blankets for chilly evenings, and everything seems clean and in working order.
The only downfall was that the road is really difficult to drive when it is wet outside. We had a really hard time making it up the hill and could hear lots of others struggling all day when it was rainy. The parking is very tight and definitely take them serious about locking your cars because I had two muddy bear prints on my door from them trying to get in. But both of those issues are so typical for this area . We would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to others. The owners were pleasant to work with.
