The house size was as described when booking. Enough room for my large family to all stay together. Great accommodations however, there was no view of the lake from the deck because the trees were overgrown.The house was great, but the deck, the stairs to the lake, and fire pit area at lakeside could have used some TLC.

Peaceful oasis

The property was just what I was looking for, rustic and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms very clean. The deck was secluded and offered a view of the lake. A long climb down a path behind the house led to a small, private beach with a fire pit. I would stay here again.

This property is great. I had a group of 8 adult men and we had enough room for all of us. The property photos are accurate, common spaces are as described and large enough for gathering. Great porch, quiet area, was really happy with our choice.

The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the amenities. The only reason we picked the house was because of the private dock, but it was not set up upon our arrival. The fire pit also was difficult to use because of location and the slope of the ground.

We don't really write reviews and we use vrbo and air b&b alot. The area is beautiful. The house itself is quite misleading in the description. We went to use dishes and they must have been put away wet, because they were all wet. The first bedroom the water heater is in the closet and smelled of natural gas. The lake itself is about 4 flights down from house, along with the firepit. The water is well so bring your own. My MIL couldnt get to the lake. She also couldnt sleep in the room because of the smell. Not too safe either.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. The home was not as clean as we expected it to be, and there were some things that were not as advertised, but they didn’t affect us all that much. If we had intended on using the lake to swim and sit on the beach as advertised, I’d have been very upset. There is literally no seating area by the water, and no beach area whatsoever. The layout of the house was great and allowed us all to sit together and play games. Overall good experience.
