Complete renovation inside and out. The setting on Bass Lake is beautiful & relaxing. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and feels like new inside. Bass Lake is a 365 acre all sports lake. The morning sunrises are perfect as you drink your coffee from the screened in lakeside porch. Grill your favorite foods right from our back deck, or visit the many local restaurants. Smart TV,Wi/Fi, washer/ dryer/air conditioning. Walking Trail right out the door just steps down the quiet road. You will be close to wineries, breweries, local shops, several golf courses, downtown Traverse City and the iconic Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Sleeping bear dunes National Lakeshore, Lake Michigan, Leland, Frankfort, Crystal Mountain are just minutes away. Just 10 min to all Traverse City has to offer, yet swim, fish, kayak from your personal lake house. Plan on enjoying beautiful Traverse City on gorgeous Bass Lake!

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put kayaks back on back of shed, if you use them.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not park in any of the grassy area. We have a drainage system through out the yard that could get damaged. Don’t park past the large Stone.
If you use the grill, please clean it. Scrape down wipe down. Thank you
Township does not allow motorboats tied to our dock, or parked on the road or grass.

Wow! We have stayed in many rentals since 2012, and this surpasses all of them in cleanliness, upkeep, comfort, and location. Perfect for a week’s stay to explore northern Michgan too. Will be recommending to friends and family seeking a perfect place to relax and unwind after hiking, fishing, boating, or perusing the towns. Morning sunrises on the lake were exqusite as well as peaceful serenity after a long day of adventure. Lakefront, firepit, and screened porch were a huge bonus! Very helpful and thoughtful owners too. A real find! Idyllic vacation!

Great stay. Cozy cottage perfect for a family of four. Rental was well stacked with cooking instruments and seasonings. There were a paddle boat, row boat, and kayaks on site, as well as a grill with propane and life vests. The hosts were extremely responsive and easy to work with. Probably the best rental experience I have had through VRBO.

Lovely getaway situated on a quiet and beautiful lake. Really pleased with the whole experience. Gracious hosts, well supplied clean rental, and gorgeous setting. We had a wonderful family reunion with our two adult children. Caught plenty of fish and saw eagles (scooped a fish right in front of me!), herons, kingfishers, and other waterfowl. Had a blast boating and kayaking. Cooked out great meals from Burritt’s Market in Traverse City (highly recommended) and had a special dinner out with our kids at Trattoria Stella. Couldn’t have been a better time.

We had the most wonderful stay. The home was clean and the property was beautiful! We explored nearby towns and the kids had an excellent time out on the water! Bass Lake was stunning, especially during sunset/sunrise. The Hosts were exceptional! We cant wait to hopefully come back!

Great location. Perfect for families.

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this was by far one the best properties we have visited. House was clean and well stocked. Location was far enough outside of town for peaceful relaxation yet close enough to everything. Would highly recommend this property.

Great location and perfect cottage!

Second time visiting the property. It is in a great location - close enough to downtown if you want it and a beautiful lakefront property. Home is clean, well organized, and the perfect get away for friends and family!

Wonderful quiet lake

The cabin is on a beautiful quiet lake that was perfect for the kids swimming. We loved using the paddleboat. The cabin was nicely renovated recently and is spotless. The location is great for quick trips to Traverse City for dinner.

Bass Lake is a 350 acre all sports lake but is peaceful and scenic. You will love the location so close to Traverse City.

Brand new interior is clean & comfy ( new LVT flooring through-out, new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops & tiled baths )
The lakeside screened deck is just a wonderful space to enjoy.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Near the end of the lake road so no traffic sounds just local paved road usage.
Ideal location to do a variety of afternoon or day trips then come back to a relaxing view of the lake.
