Wonderful Time! Great Location!

KBM resorts was great to deal with from the booking to checkout...and mailing my son's wallet that he left in the condo. The location at Turtle Bay can't be beat as the North Shore is the best. Loved having access to beach chairs and a cooler for use during our week in Hawaii. Very usefull! Will definitely return next time I am in O'ahu.

Really Awesome Location

I enjoyed my time at KBM Resorts. They treated me so well. The property was quaint and nestled on the golf course and a .2 mile walk from the beachfront. It has a mountain view, a golf view, and convenient parking. Thank you all for an amazing stay.

Turtle Bay is such a perfect location. We love coming here. We were so impressed with the quick response we received from the property managers. The condo was great . However there were a few things that could be improved. We felt like the kitchen needed some improvements. For example there were only 5 forks , and the knives are so bad. We had a hard time even cutting a pineapple. Also, there was no key to access the tennis court. Awesome that there were tennis rackets and pickleball paddles but wish there would have been balls. Over all we loved our stay and had a really positive experience.

Place to slow down on a fast island

The floor has a few spots where there are some delaminations of the wood floor in the hallway and next the the lamp nearest the closet in the bedroom but everything else was more than we could ask for. Jon was super responsive in responding to a call about our dishwasher and our neighbors were great in dealing with our very loud and ruthless 2 year old! Hahaha!Overall, if you’re looking for a place to wind down away from the craziness of all the things O’ahu has to offer then look no further. For a family stay, this hit everything we were looking for.

Aloha! Thank you so much for this thoughtful review -- we're so glad Kuilima Estates was the perfect place to slow down, and that Jon was quick to help with your dishwasher. We've shared your note about the flooring with our team so we can take a look. We hope to welcome you back to Turtle Bay again soon! Olivia, Guest Experience Specialist, KBM Resorts

Condo

Pay close attention to the refund restrictions before booking on VRBO and consider other sites like expedia. VRBO has a strict refund policy set by the property managers/owners. I booked this location about 3 weeks before staying and since that was within the 4 weeks before the start, I had no chance of refund when two of my friends backed out 2 days after I booked. If I had looked closer at expedia (which owns VRBO), I could have had a very similar property which would have given me a grace period of a few days to cancel after booking. All that being said, the stay would have been really cramped if my two friends had come with this property having 1 bathroom and AC only in the master bedroom. So I guess it worked out in the end. The location was really good for our purposes with about a 15 min walk to the beach. The managing company was helpful when I called and had a question about how best to get to the beach.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, Josh. We’re glad to hear the location worked well for your plans and that our team was helpful when you reached out for guidance on getting to the beach. Regarding the cancellation policy, we understand that circumstances can change after a reservation is made. Cancellation and refund policies are disclosed at the time of booking and are determined by the individual property’s reservation terms, so we always encourage guests to review those terms carefully before confirming a reservation. We also appreciate your comments regarding the size of the property and the A/C configuration. We understand that these factors can be important when determining whether a home is the right fit for a particular group, and we strive to provide clear information about our properties so guests can make informed booking decisions. As this review is from some time ago, we’re happy to note that any maintenance or property-related concerns from that time have since been addressed and resolved. At KBM Resorts, we regularly inspect and maintain the homes we manage and continue working to ensure they provide a comfortable experience for our guests. We appreciate your feedback and are glad that, despite the circumstances surrounding your reservation, the stay ultimately worked out well for you. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future!

Had a good time in Hawaii. This condo was great for my family of 5. Right on the edge of the golf course with a great view.
