Themed Fun

My family of three adults and two teenagers stayed at this property for a long weekend. We really enjoyed the theming of the place and the attention to detail. It was very clean and the owner was very accommodating. We travel multiple times a year to this area and love the location of Windsor Palms. We would stay here again.

1st time Universal Trip

Super nice place. Very clean and spacious. Lots of beds. My family of 5 stayed here comfortably. About 25 mins from Universal parks. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent location and easy check in

The location is excellent for a long weekend at Disney. 15 minutes to the parks. Walmart within 5 minutes. Nicely decorated kids liked the themed rooms. Very good communication with host. The neighbor is nice and quiet. Check in was very easy and in and out of Windsor Palms is easy.

Relaxing space for our Disney stay

The space was exactly what we needed to collapse after long days at Disney’s many parks! Entry into and out of the community was so simple and helped us feel secure! We also loved the covered little patio to relax outside at. My only ‘complaint’ would be the Marvel bedroom beds were so incredibly hard. The adults who stayed there had a rough sleep most nights akin to sleeping on the floor. I get it though, who knows how a bed feels until you feel it! I relayed this small comment to the owners and they were so kind and open to the feedback. All in all the space was close to the community amenities, although we didn’t use them, and the neighborhood as a whole was clean and felt very safe! All in all we’d definitely come back here if we go to Disney and decide to stay off site again. It was an honest 15 minutes to all parks easily and I found a nightly parking spot easily!

Andrea, thanks for the feedback. As discussed, we'll look into the mattresses in that bedroom (which are new). The problem is some folks like a firm mattress, some like a more plush experience. It's really a personal choice. Sounds like someone in your party prefers a more plush experience and the mattresses in that room are a bit firmer.

I recently spent a week at this property, and overall, the experience was just okay. The decor throughout the home was fun and thoughtfully themed, which we appreciated, but several important details kept the stay from feeling like a true resort-level experience.The kitchen appliances were noticeably dirty, and many of the sheet pans were rusty, which made cooking unsanitary (thank goodness I had foil sheets). The bedroom doors didn’t have locks, which took away from privacy, and the Marvel room didn’t have a TV (something that would’ve been a real issue if our fifth guest had been able to join us.) In the Harry Potter room, the bed sheets and comforter were too small for the bed, making sleeping less comfortable than expected.Checkout procedures also felt incomplete. There were tasks listed that required equipment that simply wasn’t provided, making it impossible to follow the instructions as written.While the decor was charming, the overall accommodations didn’t match the standard we’ve grown accustomed to when staying at resorts. And to top it off, the parking situation was frustrating and inconvenient.Yes, it has great themes, but the basics weren’t up to par. It was an okay stay, nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either.

This condo is beautifully decorated. Overall the condo was clean. The owner was very responsive with any concerns during our stay. The baby stroller and high chair do have excessive signs of wear and tear. We did rent baby items from a local company due to this. The resort complex has a nice clubhouse with plenty of family activities. I would definitely visit again in the future.
