Our family really enjoyed our stay. This property is in a great location. It was within about 20 minutes of everywhere we needed to go. We were extremely pleased with how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were…the best of any VRBO rental we’ve rented. The Hosts are wonderful. They respond within minutes and helped us with a few questions we had while we were there. Our kids really enjoyed to pool. They spent most of the week there. If we ever come back to the Portland area, we’ll be sure to stay here again. The weather was great. Coming from the hot SE the mid 70’s was a welcomed relief. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Annual family retreat

The house is large and gorgeous, as are the grounds and the pool. Nick and Kayla were super responsive (at one point the coffee machine broke and they had a new one there in like 2 hours). Great for a large group. We’d go back for sure.

Great place to take in the Maine Coast!

The hosts were excellent and responsive. The home was very clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. This location provided convenient access to Portland, and surrounding beaches. It was possible to take in the Acadia National Park from here, but it was a full day (dawn to dusk) to travel to and enjoy park. The family already wants to come back! Crescent Beach was awesome (small park fee).

Surprise Xmas visit

My brother in law and his fiancé recently moved to Portland, so we wanted to surprise them with a visit and have a place where we could comfortably hang out together and enjoy a Xmas dinner. This house was perfect, a nice kitchen with plenty of room to work, much larger than we anticipated and in a gorgeous location. It was close to local shops, breweries and restaurants. The owners were easy to work with and stayed in touch if we needed anything.

Overall, the house was not as represented in the listing. The house is only partially air-conditioned and I think that needs to be more well articulated in the listing. House says it has beach access ocean access that would be an overstatement to be sure. The house says it sleeps 12 people. There was only dish service for 10 and they were minimal amounts of dishes for the number of people in the house, many of the light switches don’t actually turn any lights, there were many lightbulbs out and the house was very dark.Exterior to the house the gardens are completely overgrown and need to be attended to. We could not really sit outside to eat a meal because the outdoor furniture is in bad disrepair it’s dirty and not well maintained. I was also quite surprised given the amount of sun on the property that there were no umbrellas out by the pool area, which has been our experience in our past and other houses with pools. We have rented many Premier houses over the last six or seven years and I would say this does not rank even close to the other homes that we have rented in the same price range and I would not recommend this as a premier property

The property is nicely furnished. Kitchen is well stocked. Working grill, great for a barbecue night! The pool was very nice, pool toys in the garage, and we enjoyed afternoon swims daily. The management team responded to our requests promptly and effectively. Highly recommend!
