Spent a week with family, ages 19 to 80, over Thanksgiving. We felt at home - with a fun, art twist - and had everything we needed. Restaurants within walking distance, rented a car for activities farther away. Visiting a family member at Tulane and this place is relatively close if you have a car.

Absolutely loved this house. It is even better than it looks in the pictures - the owner has decorated the property very stylishly and it had more than enough room for the 11 of us who stayed at the house for the Essence Festival. We especially loved the master suite and the kitchen but all the rooms are lovely. The area is really great - a huge Wholefoods and lovely boutiques within walking distance. Highly recommend a breakfast cafe called Toast just round the corner from the house - lovely crepes and pancakes. We went running several times and the area is very safe. The owner is very responsive to queries and very helpful.
