The home is in the perfect location just outside of downtown Monroe. We felt safe and at home during our stay.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Pet friendly with a nice fenced in back yard for the pet, not necessarily for people though as the neighbors played very loud music in cars and yard much of our outdoor time, with constant activity and guests over. Couldn’t even enjoy quiet coffee first thing in the morning. Suggestions…Maybe a cheap grill outside? How bout some cheap chairs for front porch? Shades for windows (very bright sun coming in all windows and shear curtains provide nothing, for glare on TV or security in any room. A remote for the fan/light in bedroom was gone so no light in there. I could go on with issues, but let’s go to decent communication, easy check in, didn’t see anything on what to do when leaving so just went with we normally do. Overall it wasn’t a horrible place, but would never rebook.
Cute place. Lamp in bedroom broke, bag of dog poop on back deck. No wine opener. Listing states 2 queen beds, a bunk and pull out sofa. This is not correct, there is only 1 queen bed which left our friends without a queen.
It's a cute little old house in downtown Monroe. We traveled for a wedding nearby. It perfectly fits 5 persons. The backyard is very nice. The kitchen has been fully remodeled and the appliances are new also. Parking for at least 2 cars. A couple of details, we were 4 and there were just 3 towels. The whole house was clean but we found a dead cockroach in the main bedroom. Everything else was good.

When we arrived in the evening there were no lights on outside and it was difficult to find the home. I also contacted the host to let them know that the thermostat was set to 52 degrees and the house was freezing. It took hours for the temperature to come back up to the 60's (which is understandable as the house is older. They provided one thin extra blanket and unfortunately the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
We loved our stay at the Blue Daisy Cottage! The owner was responsive and helpful. If we could not locate something, the owner was quick to communicate where to find it. Please visit!

Thanks so much Denise!! We loved hosting you and would love to have you back anytime you come to Georgia!!
This small, yet spacious home has plenty of room for a family or a small group needing a place to stay near downtown area or nearby wedding venues. Updated interior with ample room for a small family or group of friends. Very unique bathroom, updated kitchen with barstools, and a nice backyard space right by the Factory at Walton and the Engine Room. Definitely would return here for an event in Monroe area
This was a lovely old home that obviously the owners are putting a lot of thought and money into. Our only complaint is that the lawn had obviously not been mowed in a while. I contacted the owner and was told that their lawn person has been ill but somebody would be there the next day to mow which didn't happen. We were able to enjoy the back deck but not the lovely back yard which included a fire pit and adarondak chairs. Our small dog didn't appreciate the long grass and weeds. Best of luck to you in the future.

Cute but not that practical.
Super cute and clean place but there were a few things missing that would have made our stay much better. We were in town for a wedding and would have loved to have a couple hangers in the closet so we could hang up and steam our wedding clothes. The overhead light in the master bedroom didn't work. I messaged the host about it but never heard back. One of the bedside lamps turned on but then kept flickering on and off. We fiddled with the light bulb but nothing helped. There were only 3 large towels and one hand towel in the bathroom and no bathmat on the floor so we ended up using one of the large ones on the floor. Would have been nice to have an a bathmat so we could have an extra towel.
The stay was just OK.. cleaners didn’t finish their job… left some things un done. Bed wasn’t comfy at all and we seen a cockroach. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to lock the door when we would leave. So I would have to lock it from the inside and go out the back door. Just seemed over priced to me. The location was nice though being close to downtown.
