Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. Having a TV in each room was a plus. The only down side was that not all rooms had closets, and there were no dressers in the rooms. Overall very satisfied and would rent again.

Our 3-generation family enjoyed our stay at The Jefferson House. The property had adequate space for our family of 8. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for everyone. There are a few things that could be tweaked •The rug under the coffee table poses a hazard for older people because it not secured at all corners •Towel hooks for wet towels•Outside hose not working to wash sandy feet•Outside mats would help with removing sand from the shoes•Board game pieces missing•The front door tries to auto lock even when it is locked•Seating in the main bedrooms

We appreciate your detailed feedback and are so glad The Jefferson House provided plenty of space and comfort for your family of eight. Thank you for highlighting the clean rooms, spacious layout, and well‑stocked kitchen. Your suggestions are extremely valuable, and we’ll be reviewing each item — from the rug and towel hooks to the outdoor hose, mats, game pieces, and door lock. We hope to host you again in the future.

The house was clean, organized, and in a great location. We did notice a stain on one of the blankets, and one of the queen beds was broken upon arrival, but the host had it fixed right away. We were also unable to use the grill because it didn’t get hot enough to cook our food properly. The kitchen was well-stocked with a great selection of utensils and cookware, which made meal preparation easy and convenient. Overall, it was a great family-friendly place to stay, and we enjoyed our visit.

We’re sorry the grill didn’t heat properly and will be looking into the issue. We’re happy your family had a great visit overall and would love to welcome you back.

Great for a getaway weekend

The property was perfect for our adults only reunion. It was spacious for our group of 6. We enjoyed cooking and sharing meals around the dining table. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach and miniature golf.

It’s a great space. You have to go through benchmark properties you don’t necessarily communicate directly with the host. There was an issue with the trash that I had to spend some of my time on the phone with the property manager that I did not appreciate. Unfortunately, there were two weeks worth of trash bags from previous vacationers that animals got into and that my husband had to clean up. With only two days left in our vacation the trash truck finally came. Rating the house overall it is a really great space there is room however they lack in dressers in the bedroom so that you can store clothes so if you like to live out of your suitcase, then you’ll be fine. The cleaning service did an OK job cleaning but when we got there, windows were dirty and there was food splattered on the blinds in the living room room. We also found candy wrappers in the bedrooms. Overall, the house itself the space was very nice.

House was spacious for our family (2 grandchildren and six adults) plus room for more! Everything was clean and the home was nicely decorated and organized-cabinets and drawers and light switches were all labeled. This was a great location because our extended family was nearby. We have a large family and everyone meets in the Fenwick Island area for a family beach week annually. We loved being there for the week.I would recommend that a broom and dustpan be stored in the closet.

A Weekend to Remember

I Highly recommend this amazing rental! My family had a great time while visiting Ocean City from a Friday to Monday. This house is so beautiful inside and out. Upon entry you walk into a very fresh scent! The interior is beautifully updated and very spacious. Both children and adults enjoyed the games provided in the basement as well.
