This is the second time my large extended family has rented this beautiful home. It is the most incredible house for a group of family and friends! With 6 bedrooms, many bathrooms, a large kitchen, a big table to sit around, an outoor fire-pit and several lounging areas, you have many places to congregate, while also having quiet space when you need to rest. It is within walking distance to downtown Aiken, as well. You will not be disappointed!
The communication with house overseer was spit on. So receptive and kind.
Beds, sheets, comforters, towels are all top shelf!
The grounds were so nice. Being able to walk to town and wilcox inn was si convenient
The property was incredible, such a beautiful and well decorated place. From the inside furniture and amenities to the well manicured gardens outside. Everything was perfect and well thought out. My family and I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to. Property managers Stacey and Suzy were great to work with. Great communication and they even took time out of their day to give us a walk thru of the property since it is a big house with many rooms and adjacent hallways. I would recommend this property to all of my friends and family taking a trip to Aiken, SC.
This house comfortably accommodated our family of nine with plenty of room for each couple to have their own get away location within the house and plenty of common areas to share family time together. In addition the location was great. We walked two short blocks to enjoy downtown Aiken, had short drives to enjoy good food, and it took less than 30 minutes to get to the Augusta airport. Finally the house was beautiful, well maintained, and had great outdoor spaces.
We booked this home for family members to stay during our daughter's wedding in Aiken. Everything about it was amazing. The house was close to downtown and the Wilcox. Large, modern kitchen for cooking and congregating. Beautiful outdoor area with fire-pit for chatting and relaxing. Many comfortable and private bedrooms with updated bathrooms. Another bonus is there were several other sitting rooms for people to spread out. Plenty of parking for all of the guests. I will be booking it in the future for our visits to Aiken!

If you are thinking of renting this house read the fine print. It is a huge gorgeous house with lots of bedrooms advertised to sleep 12, but they will charge you hundreds of extra person charges in host fees for over 4 people. We didn’t even use one of the bedrooms had under 12 guests and were charged 200 extra dollars for every guest over 4! The house itself gorgeous and very comfortable but there were also issues. The coffee maker was not cleaned out and very gross, there was a very bad smell in the kitchen (the property manager did address this for us but the smell returned the next day), the video camera light sensor pops on every 10 minutes out back which makes having a glass of wine on the back patio at night very aggravating. All of the issues other than the smell would have not bothered me at all, but I was already feeling very upset by the fees, it felt very much like a scam.
