Warm and Inviting - Great Staff

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room size perfect for our needs. Dog friendly was key. Plenty of outdoors space to walk her. Breakfast choices were awesome and you could tell that the chefs put effort into making it a delicious success. We will definitely book here again the next time we visit our relatives in Connecticut. Many thanks for giving us a memorable weekend with our family members because you allowed our pet to travel with us.

Not impressed

When I got to the Residence Inn, I was told they were overbooked and that they made arrangements for me to stay at the Avon Old Farms Hotel. I was the only one out of 8 work colleagues who was "bumped". The experience of checking in at Avon Old Farms was TERRIBLE, they seemed to not have record of this "transfer", it took multiple discussions with the clerk from Residence Inn and Avon Old Farms to get it taken care of. Was not impressed with the Avon Old Farms Hotel in any way.
