Excellent place to stay at!!! This is our 2nd time back and loved it even more!! Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country life and relaxation with the family. Definitely will be back again.
I was very impressed with the property. This was my first experience with VRBO and every thing greatly exceeded my expectations. There was everything we needed and more. Truly a home away from home. Everyone enjoyed the property from an 87 year old great grandmother to the 2 year old great grandson.
Off the beaten path with lovey scenery and wildlife, this place offers a down to earth stay in a very well stocked house. Very close up views of whitetail was a big highlight!
This property is a gem! We very much enjoyed our stay and were surprised by all the personal touches that the owners had in place to make it feel like your home away from home. We had so many wildlife visitors it truly gave the up-north out in nature vibe we love! From the deer to the hummingbirds and turkeys, we wanted to either be sitting out on the deck or watching out the window the entire time. The kids (ages 13 to 18) were happy with the sleeping arrangements and we were happy to have a bathroom for ourselves! The kitchen was well stocked and even included some necessities! We are so happy with our stay and will definitely be back! There are even extra bedrooms in the basement making the sleeping even more versatile! Richard was very easy to communicate with and attentive! Thanks for a great stay!!
Nice and clean. Property is well maintained and plenty of room. We only stayed upstairs. The jet tub was out of order but, didn’t bother us.
Plenty of birds, lots of hummingbirds and other creatures to be found.
We had a relaxing trip and enjoyed the quiet evenings listening to the wind blowing through the trees.
Good visit. Tough weather. Walked trails but hadn't been told there was hunting. Owner apologized. No live TV. Had Netflix but buffered. Some esy changes to make. .
My family and I had the best time. The house has so many extras. There are 4 beds in the basement and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the first floor. The kitchen has an open bar type area and then a dining room. The deck is huge and all sorts of wildlife come right up to the deck area. The host was great. We will be returning to thjs property next year.
Everything about this property is excellent. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for parking our trucks and machines. Great outdoor space for fire and socializing. Everything you need is provided along with somethings we didn't think of. Check in/out was a breeze and communication was excellent, and answered questions quickly. Inside was a little dated, but comfortable, with plenty of space. Wifi was spotty, but we really didn't use much.
If you are looking for a quiet, out of the way place, the Wavin Haven is perfect. Don't be surprised by the gravel road, that's the right way. If you need a dark room to sleep, one of the smaller rooms is best. The master has a nice skylight that brightens the room in the morning. Check in and out was easy. Communication was prompt. We got to watch hummingbirds, deer, blue jay, red squirrel, and chipmunks. The house is cozy and has a well equipped kitchen and nice TV. We would absolutely book again if in the area.
