Amazing location! My daughter loved the beach out front, we did a lot of rock skipping and shell finding. Also great deck on the water to hang out on when the tide is high. The cabin itself is beautiful and cozy and has everything you need to feel right at home. Carolyn was so welcoming and hospitable and really made staying there so much better.
This place is a gem! A beautiful property surrounded by gorgeous views in a peaceful ,quiet environment. Our host was very responsive to any questions and very sweet. The cabin has all your needs and very clean and well thought out. We can't wait to return and spend more time there.
The cabin was so cute and had a beautiful view to the Puget sound, we enjoyed walking at the beach at low tide, so much sea life in the tide pools. Carolyn was a wonderful host, we felt like going home, we had everything you needed in the cabin, we can’t wait to go back, next time we want to stay longer, one week is not enough. Thank you Carolyn, you made our vacation so memorable. Btw, we also saw the Orca swim by, so cool.
We loved our stay at the cottage. Great views, close proximity to the beach for walking and even saw some wildlife playing out in the water! The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We will book here again and Definitely recommend staying here!
We absolutely loved our weekend at the cabin. The place was spotless. Everything is perfectly placed and organized. We were mesmerized by the views. We saw seals, cranes, and orcas while we were having breakfast. We walked on the beach and enjoyed the sunshine. We will definitely be back. Carolyn is a super host. She gave us great suggestions for eating and shopping.
We loved this magical experience for our two day stay. Wished it was longer. This cute efficient well laid out space has everything you need. The views are amazing inside and out. Sunrise, sunset lighting, tides rise/fall, the Narrows Bridge views, the sea and bird life gave us plenty action dawn to dusk. Walk miles along the beach when the tide is out and around the neighborhood to the end of the pier when the tide is up. There’s so much to do and see. Chambers Bay golf course and park is across the sound was the perfect hike / lunch outing for us.
Carolyn is a wonderful host who has it all. She respects your privacy but is there for you if you need anything. Charming, witty and fun loving, she will make your stay complete. We will be coming back. 👍
We loved our stay at Carolyn's cabin! The views are spectacular, particularly early morning when you can view an amazing sunrise and dusk when the sea animals especially come out. We were able to spot harbor seals and porpoises all throughout the day from the cabin and the beach, which does require stairs and some agility to get to. The bed and couches were comfortable. Such a quiet and peaceful setting. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out around the island. We had my nieces who live locally come by a few times and spend the night and Carolyn was so helpful. She even lent her flip-flops to my niece and helped us by getting kid-size life vests so they could use the kayaks. There are two nice fans in the cabin as it does not have air conditioning but we were very comfortable with that and opening the windows. There were plenty of nice dishes, coffee pods and a good size refrigerator. We truly were sad to leave and cannot wait to come back to this beautiful place.
We loved every minute of our trip! The cabin was perfect and absolutely adorable. Carolyn the host, was warm and kind. She also thought of and supplied the cabin with everything anyone could possibly need. Everything was neat as a pin, and very well organized. The bed was really comfy, sheets were super good quality, the TV and cable worked great (which normally we wouldn't care about but we wanted to watch the Olympics in the evening). One morning that was a little cool we turned on the fireplace and it was cozy as ever.
We love to kayak so the two kayaks were a big draw for us. While out kayaking, three seals popped up along the way and a we also saw a couple of dolphins in the distance. Ahhh....
Even though it feels like you are worlds away, the cabin is only a 20 minute drive from Gig Harbor. We really appreciated a quality grocery store called Metropolitan Market. You can pick up incredible produce, delicious baked goods and quality prepared food. And we're super picky! Lastly, don't miss the I-Screamery in Gig Harbor. An artisan local ice cream shop inside a BBQ restaurant in Gig Harbor. The "Bee's Knee's flavor (buttermilk and honey) was some of the best ice cream we've tasted. The flavor may sound weird but you have to at least as for a taste!
We loved the cabin, the location, the views, the host. We will definitely be back!
It’s a little piece of paradise. Gorgeous location of the house, cute and cozy home, a wonderful and kind host. What more can you ask for? Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.
