The property was lovely, each of the bedrooms was spacious. Each of the beds had a varying level of firmness, so all could choose a room based on bed preference. Had fun fishing off the dock and playing games at the large dining table. A very nice place for a large group to stay.

The check was very easy, the house is very clean and spacious, kitchen had all the necessities we needed, WiFi was easy to sign into and worked great. We were in town for a family wedding 10 people had plenty of room and bathrooms to get ready. Alot of things to do in beautiful Alexandria, MN.

Family Get Away

Our family really enjoyed our mid-winter get together. Our group of twelve had plenty of room to sleep and the large dinning room table was perfect for meals and games. Eric was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Very impressive VRBO all the extras, spacious each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Extra large dining table for meals and evening card games.Location is close to town and restaurants. Woodworking is amazing and nice lights on the steps in the evenings.The host was wonderful answering questions daytime and evening. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here 3 nights for a family Christmas with a group of 12 adults, 3 preteens, and 3 toddler/babies and this was a fantastic space for us! My Mom was able to take the main floor master and avoid stairs and each of us still had our own rooms. There was always a bathroom available. We cooked EVERY meal here and had enough dishes and pot/pans. Even more importantly, the table had space for everyone to eat together! Roads stayed cleared even through a blizzard (legitimately!). Two bald eagles perched just outside the windows in a tree the day we were leaving- very cool thing to see. We would highly recommend this space for so many reasons!

We had a family reunion with 16 adults and a toddler. We had a great experience and loved the house. It was clean and worked well for us. Erik responded quickly to all communications. The kitchen was well stocked and many indoor/outdoor games or activities were available for use. We plan to return next year. We also enjoyed exploring Alexandria!

Outstanding property and owners

This was such a great place for my family and I and our extended family to stay for a family reunion near Alexandria. The house was perfect and comfortably slept 8 adults and 8 kids. Lots of enjoyment outside at the dock and in the yard playing games. Erick, the owner, was simply wonderful. Highly recommend this 5 star property!

Very nice place to stay!

The house was perfect for the big group that we had. We had plenty of room. The only thing we thought that would make it a little better would be a second fridge maybe in the garage. It was a lot of people to share one fridge in the kitchen. Everything else was excellent.

Great Large Property!

This new construction home is very nice with many amenities you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find at a rental home. We had a party of 12 and this house fit us very well (and easily could have had more). Erik was a great host and responded promptly to any questions we had.

Wonderful home for a family reunion

We are a family of 13 people from our 70's to age 7, 8 adults and 5 children. The house was perfect for all of us, we had plenty of room for activities, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were just right and the beds were so comfortable! We rented a large pontoon boat and the kids all loved boating and tubing on beautiful Lake Victoria. They also loved the floating Lily Pad, and the paddle boards and fishing off the dock. We had great food from the local restaurants, especially Angelina's for pizza! We will definitely stay there again!

A perfect weekend!

This house was everything I could have anticipated and more. The house itself is beautiful and Erik, the host, has made sure to stock it with anything you might need during your stay. Even with quite a few people staying in one house, this place has enough spaces/areas so we never felt cramped. The deck was lovely to enjoy each morning and evening of our stay. Erik: Thank you for being a super host! You were so attentive and kind during our stay— we will definitely be back next year!

Annual Woman's Gathering

What a beautiful home! The kitchen provided everything we needed for making snacks and creating cocktails. The large table allowed us to gather for meals, for cards and games, and for conversation. Everyone slept well on comfortable beds. In the morning, there were plenty of bathrooms for all the ladies. When the football game came on, the living room large tv came in handy. Great place

I stayed here with 14 girls for my bachelorette party, and we had a blast! Plenty of space for all of us, and plenty of bathroom space, which we were concerned about. There is an empty lot next door that is perfect for parking, and we used it for a yard game tournament. Would definitely stay here again if hosting a larger group!

Lake Victoria Gem

Perfect for our multi family get-together! With seven bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, everyone had a comfortable clean room and bathroom. The house has a well equipped kitchen and a great room with two sofas and two chairs.The dining area has a long table that's seats many people as well. The location was great! Not far from restaurants, groceries and the local winery. We rented a pontoon and spent two fun days fishing on the lake. Access to the lake/dock, is by stairs, and there are a number of them. The stairs are nicely done with an occasional landing to stop and enjoy the trees and the lake. It's a great workout. Erik, the host, is very kind and was willing to answer my many questions with a quick response. I highly recommend this beautiful home. You'll be happy with it as well!

We have been Premier Hosts with VRBO for over ten years. I was born and raised in Alexandria and I absolutely love it when I have guests visiting the area for the first time. Whether it's where to fish on the lake or where to eat in town, there aren't many questions for which I won't have an answer. I make it a point to be readily available to my guests for any need or concern that may arise.

Why they chose this property

We love Lake Victoria and the high bluffs that surround it. Relaxing with a cup of coffee on the lakeside deck & listening to the loons is one of our favorite pastimes. The fishing is great right from the end of the dock and five other lakes (Jessie, Geneva, L'homme Dieu, Carlos and Darling) are accessible by boating through the channels. The house is located within the city limits of Alexandria and is connected to city water- no rusty well water here!

What makes this property unique

This seven bedroom home is large enough to accommodate big groups or families. If more space is required, we also have a five bedroom house right next door that is available to rent (VRBO #169511). The adjacent open lot is extremely convenient to park extra vehicles/trailers and for playing numerous yard games.
