We enjoyed our stay on the lagoon. The house was furnished nicely and has been well cared for. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a stay on the forgotten coast.

Thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to host you again soon.
The house was just right for a relaxing getaway. It’s a sleepy little area. The beach was an easy 15 minute stroll through the neighborhood. The house was clean and well stocked including little things that one might’ve forgotten.

It was wonderful hosting you. We hope to have you stay again!
Great, very clean home for a getaway, even with fur babies! Other than dog toys/accessories, you can’t tell that pets have been there! The fishing on the lagoon was amazing! Literally went from the line to the plate! Lots of little things one may not think to bring, or even forgot. Our little girl especially loved the board games and everyone loved the hammock swings. Short walk to the beach was peaceful and it was fantastic seeing lots of dolphins and even a few sand sharks. We would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Thank you so much. We would love to host you again.
We came for Thanksgiving with family. The kitchen was adequate to prepare our dinner(with a few improvizations.) We enjoyed the firepit and walking distance to the beach. The very nice TV provided evening entertainment. The bedrooms were nice. We had understood there was a second half bath which we never found.

Thank you so much. We are glad you had a great time.
The home is a nice small 2 bed 1 bath with an outside shower to wash the sand off if you go to the beach. The beach is about a mile walk or 2 min drive down the road. If you leave the driveway, take a left and go all the way down and across the street for public beach access. I wouldn’t specifically say “steps” away. The host was great and very quick to respond. The house had everything needed from 2 different types of coffee makers, pots pans, towels, beach towels, coolers, lounge chairs, bocce ball game and many more. We were very happy to be able to have both our dogs with us which not a lot of places allow. If your not used to staying in a house on stilts just know you almost feel like your on a boat, as the house sways a bit especially when someone is moving around in the house. Great view and nice lagoon in the back. We went to three different beaches while there. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the great review and we look forward to hosting you again.
This place is a hidden gem. The beaches were great and just a short drive away. The blue crabs were plentiful in the lagoon and we were able to catch plenty for a large crab dinner. We loved seeing all of the wildlife (even the black bear that snuck up on me). 10/10 would recommend visiting Alligator Point!
The host was so nice! This home was just perfect for us! There were doggy treats and goodies! The outdoor area was lovely! Everything was spic-and-span and the beds were so comfy! We would love to stay at this rental again and strongly recommend this home and host!
Adorable and very clean. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the fish jump at night. When it’s dark they sound HUGE. The neighbors were all friendly but not all up in our business. It felt very private and quiet and restorative. Exactly what we needed.

Property well kept. Bed very comfortable. Supplies were ample. Need pepper in kitchen and hairdryer that blows hot air but other than that no complaints.
We are a family from Maine who completely fell in love with Alligator Point. The beaches are pristine, uncrowded, and truly beautiful, and the people here are welcoming and friendly. It feels like a hidden gem, and we’re excited to share this special place with our guests. We even named our business after our two rescue Labradors, who love chasing ghost crabs and taking long walks up the beach. It’s the perfect place to slow down, relax, and unwind.
Why they chose this property
The scene at Alligator Point is calm, natural, and unhurried. Mornings begin with peaceful lagoon views, the sound of birds, and fish breaking the water, while evenings bring glowing sunsets, star-filled skies, and the gentle crackle of a fire. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with uncrowded beaches perfect for long walks, shelling, and dolphin watching. What we enjoy most is the laid-back atmosphere and sense of community—it’s a place where you can truly disconnect, slow down, and appreciate the beauty of the coast.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property unique is its rare combination of peaceful lagoon-front living and easy beach access. Guests can fish or crab right from the lagoon, then take a short walk to enjoy pristine, uncrowded white sand beaches. The setting is quiet and relaxing, with beautiful water views, outdoor living space, and a cozy fire pit—perfect for unwinding.
