Myles Away was the perfect getaway for my daughter and me. The hosts responded quickly when I asked to stay the next day for 4 nights. We had everything we needed, including a comfortable home and a beautiful lake view. I would love to visit again.

We loved our stay at Chris and KT’s lake house! It was very family-friendly, with a sandy walk-in beach, floaties, and outdoor toys that our kids loved. There were lots of thoughtful details, including a safety gate on the porch and a well-equipped kitchen. This is our second year staying at the house, and we’ve loved our time there!

This is our 4th or 5th time staying here and the place never fails to deliver a tranquil, peaceful setting. The house is well laid out for multiple family members and plenty of room for my pups. But the Deck/Dock is still the highlight. Mere feet from the house, you feel as if you are floating on the water. Plenty of room to spread out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Most of our time is spent out there, sunning, wading, having campfires and kayaking the quiet lake. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway with an amazing view.

We visited Myles Away for a week in late August and it was an incredible vacation. The house was spacious enough for everyone to find a place to sit comfortably by themselves or with others. There were plenty of games, books, beach toys, inflatable water tubes, life jackets, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and outdoor seating. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessities and had a nice selection of cookware and small appliances. We appreciated the beach towels and everyone slept well on the beds. Water temps were incredibly comfortable and we even caught a few nice largemouth bass out towards the point on the canoe! Very nice. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the peace, quiet, beauty, and tranquility of the lake house. The property is well kept and the hosts were readily available to troubleshoot a couple of issues that arose. The listing does not describe the parking situation other than the driveway can accommodate up to 4 cars. We may have not booked this property, traveling in a big van and cargo trailer, if we knew that there was not enough space for us to turn around and keep the trailer. Luckily, a neighbor told us about a spot up the road to park the trailer. The neighbor did tell us that other renters have struggled with this as well. Although the house was well furnished and comfortable, we did not agree with requirement of buying insurance for 59.99 or a 1500 deposit.

We had a great time at Myles Away. The home is well suited for lake life and we took full advantage! Kayaking every day (if it didn't rain) my husband went fishing and if it had been a tad warmer I would have been swimming. We walked the roads with our dog but there is a snowmobile path if you prefer the woods not far away. We went to the funnest ice cream stand about 20 minutes away called Balthazar's Ice Shack. We hope to book again next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We spent a beautiful weekend at Myles Away and were able to canoe kayak and use the pedal boat too. Sitting on the dock enjoying the lake was a delight. Our dogs enjoyed it too!Wonderful stay

We loved staying at Myles Away! Lake Crescent is peaceful and beautiful- watching the sunset from the dock was one of our favorite activities. The house is well set up for families, and we’re looking forward to coming back next year!

Perfect summer cottage, all you need is your groceries, which we ordered at the Hannaford in Claremont. Loved the suggestions on what to do or see while you're there. Wonderful relaxing week!

Heaven!

We had a wonderful time. The deck/dock is fabulous and we spent most of our time here from drinking our morning coffee to sunbathing, floating in the lake, and watching the sunset. This well stocked home had everything that we needed for our stay. I can't imagine a better place to have stayed during the heatwave. The lake felt refreshing but not cold and we were in and out of the water all day.

Relaxing

We had a very relaxing and fun time at Myles Away. Family and friends visited us at different times and enjoyed swimming, kayaking and using our motor boat. Beautiful views on this quiet and clean lake.

Peaceful!

Perfect lake front home with a fabulous deck, right on the water! The home had every amenity one could think of, was tastefully decorated and had plenty of space to spread out! I highly recommend this beautiful home!

Relaxing family getaway

Had a wonderful and relaxing time with our friends and 6-month-old daughter. The house was fully-equipped with everything we could need. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the world and just hang around. Had fun with the canoes and paddle board. Beds are comfy and we slept so well. We hope to return some day.

Lovely home right on the water

Such a nice, well kept home right on the water. Crescent lake was beautiful and the huge deck was perfect for relaxing and hanging out during the day. We used the kayaks and it was great to putter around the lake. I also appreciated how well organized and clear everything at the house was. Will definitely book again!

Great vacation home

Everything you could have asked for in a vacation home. The house was cute and well decorated. It was fully stocked from kitchen gadgets to puzzles and games. The deck over the water was the absolute best part. The built in retractible gates was also an awesome plus. Would highly recommend this place. We did NOT want to leave.

Wonderful Week At Myles Away

This is a wonderful, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. There are stunning views from inside the house and out. Although there were only 2 of us and our pup, the house could easily accommodate a large family. We explored the area daily and took the pedal boat out every afternoon. Lovely!

Wonderful space for family

Myles Away was very clean, bright, and welcoming. We spent a lot of time on the large deck over the water swinging in the hammock chairs and relaxing as a family. We have a two and a half year old and there were plenty of toys for her to play with, and the water access was also perfect for her. This house came with everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. Wonderful stay, thank you.

Magical Getaway

This is our fourth time staying at this beautiful lakeside home. As always the house was warm and welcoming for a group of five adults. The kitchen well stocked for nights of cooking and BBQs. But most importantly is the Deck/Dock I call it. The views of the lake, the tranquility of the setting and the stars at night were simply magical from the dock. Everyone including my two pups enjoyed the rest and relaxation we got! Thanks again and we will be back!

Miles Away/Myles Away

If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your time away! A calm, peaceful place that cradled us for a week of solitude. The maples arch over the rock encrusted deck for a full day of shade. Plenty of watercraft. Three of us caught and released 38 sunfish off the dock. It is “miles away” from urban centers. Enjoy your time away!

Another Stay in Fall Splendor

The property was just as wonderful as the first time we stayed 2 years ago. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful with amazing views and plenty of amenities. There is not much you can think of needing that isn't provided - the kitchen is well set up and stocked, there are tons of games and puzzles and books, and even though it was chilly my daughter was able to take the pedal boat out on the lake. Chris and K.T. are easily reached and very helpful if you have any questions or issues. Claremont is about 20 minutes away, and had more to offer than during our previous stay in terms of restaurants and groceries, if you must venture out! We drove through the fall colors to Woodchuck Cider House in Vermont for cider tasting - it was a long trip but worth the effort! Thanks so much, we will be back!
