The space
The master bedroom is a serene retreat, framed by large windows and a sliding door that opens to the secluded backyard; with it's own whirlpool tub, walk-in closet, and a desk for those moments when duty calls amidst tranquility.
The downstairs loft (game room) is a treasure trove of fun with air hockey and foosball tables, a TV, and a sleeper sofa that unfurls into a snug twin bed. Whether it's family game night or a quiet evening with a favorite show, this space is tailored for enjoyment and relaxation.
Bedroom 1 on the lower level is a stargazer's dream come true(great for kids) Snuggle up in the twin-over-full bunk bed with a trundle. The full bed can be pulled out from the bottom of the bunk beds.
Bedroom 2 offers a camping experience without leaving the comforts of home. The queen bed, designed like a cozy tent, stands against a full-wall outdoor scene wallpaper. Step out onto the private deck and you're amidst the trees, where the forest backdrop makes every moment an outdoor adventure.
Step outside to revel in the spacious decks that offer a vantage point to nature's splendor. With a capacity of 8 guests and driveway parking for 2 vehicles, we cater to family gatherings and intimate celebrations.
Luna Lodge is equipped with a gas generator, providing peace of mind during the area's frequent power outages. Rest assured, your mountain getaway will be uninterrupted.
Guest access
You will have full and total access of the whole cabin including kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room, and the front yard/backyard. There’s a small creek in the backyard which is the end of the property.
You will receive a 4-digit door code 24 hours before check-in. To unlock the door, simply enter the code and press the checkmark. Please note that the door will automatically lock after 30 minutes. Ensure that all guests are aware of the door code.
Other things to note
We honor the serenity of our community with quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. No amplified sound at any time unless it is not audible at the property line (close windows to reduce noise traveling). The property sound levels are monitored at the front porch, in the living room and in the downstairs loft to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all. To maintain the purity of the alpine air, smoking is strictly prohibited. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected.
Failure to comply with short term rental requirements (including occupancy and parking standards, as well as public and private nuisances) can be cited for these violations, which may result in penalties of $1,000.
