The beach house was the perfect size for our family of 9 plus 1 dog. Overall, the home was clean, comfortable, and had MOSTLY everything we needed for the week. The listed amenities were somewhat confusing/inaccurate. We expected to bring hand soaps and toilet paper, but those were provided. After a quick sweep of the house, we discovered that we needed laundry detergent, garbage bags, Ziploc bags, cling wrap, paper towels, paper plates, and napkins. The kitchen did have coffee filters, some spices, adequate dishes/cookware, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, and aluminum foil.I do wish there had been more photos of each bedroom before booking. The room that's listed as having “three twin beds” actually ended up being small wood bunk beds with a trundle underneath. It was a tight fit for my 3 teenagers, especially with all their luggage and the trundle pulled out. This probably wouldn’t have deterred us from renting, but having a better idea of the space would have helped us plan accordingly.Having a washer and dryer on-site was wonderful and made keeping up with beach towels and clothes for 9 people much easier. The walk to the beach is a bit of a hike, but manageable. Beach chairs were provided and could be taken to the beach, which was a nice bonus. Broadkill Beach ended up being very beautiful and enjoyable. The carpets are definitely worn and dirty and could use replacing. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and found the home comfortable and well-equipped overall.
