Endless Sunsets Retreat! Calling all beach lovers, bird watchers, and nature enthusiasts! This 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, and 3 deck house will accommodate anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. With just a 30 second walk to the private beach, you’ll find the Delaware Bay welcoming you to surf fishing, kayaking, sunbathing, paddle boarding, and a sand castle building paradise! Sleeps 8 people, and is expandable to 10 -12 guests! Bedding and kitchen utensils are provided. Also some beach chairs and various other beach gear are available with plenty of space for your own gear to be stowed away in the one car garage. An outdoor shower is available to rinse the salt and sand away. A spacious deck off the dining area has a gas grill for you to grill up your fresh catch. Enjoy the views of the bay or marsh from every window of the house or lounge on any of the 3 upper decks or downstairs patio. Bring your marshmallows to roast over a fire pit on the beach! This is a wildlife refuge which means there is an abundance of local wildlife that we share our space with. Eagles, Ospreys, shorebirds, and horseshoe crabs are just a few that you may see while here. Occasionally, there maybe an abundance of horseshoe crabs on the beach across the street due to the time of year.
We are close to restaurants, grocery stores, and outlet shopping. Milton has a local museum and quaint downtown shops. Lewes and Rehoboth beaches are also just up the road.

Please bring your own towels. Bedding is provided. Please launder your used linens prior to checking out. Housekeeping will make the beds.
Do not climb the trees (dead/alive) in the backyard.
Keep doors shut to prevent flies, mosquitoes, etc. from entering the house.

Bird watcher paradise

Loved the location. Occupants were avid bird watchers which was a definite plus. Great central location to restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend!

Great location!

Best beach for small children. Just a walk across the street and we were on the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and very few people on the natural beach. Saw lots of wild life. The house was comfortable and accommodating. We had a wonderful week!

Great stay and great views

The house is very nice with incredible views of the bay from the back deck. The host was great also and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The beach across the street was fine, but nothing special and we ended up driving to Cape Henlopen some days for a better beach experience. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

Peaceful and beautiful

Great place! Beautiful sunset views from back deck. We enjoyed the beach across the street and the peace and quiet of the all residential community. Restaurants and the wildlife refuge were 15 minutes away. Our family enjoyed every minute!

Great house and location

The pictures on the listing do not do the house justice! It was completely renovated from top to bottom. We had 4 families, 12 total and we all fit comfortably. The only thing we were disappointed about was there was no hot tub, just a soaking tub in master. The location was perfect still on the water but close to the baseball tournament we were in town for. We would all stay here again!

Loved Our Stay

Our stay here was excellent. We have stayed in Milford DE several times and this was by far our favorite house. The photos don’t do it justice. The house is beautiful and spacious. Has three bathrooms, all with showers, which was beneficial when having little kids on vacation. Lots of places to sleep. All kinds of books to read, movies to watch, games to play. Location is excellent. Beach is so close and not crowded. Owner was very responsive. Had no significant issues. Would absolutely stay again.

Family Vacation

We were very pleased when we learned the house is only about a year old. All kitchen and laundry appliances are to of the line. The quiet location was great. No thru traffic. Beach was spacious and barely anyone there during our weekday stay. Suggest some instructions on operation of the tv as quite different from our Spectrum system. If we decide to vacation in that area again we would love to use this beautiful place.

Almost perfect!

The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The views were phenomenal. The tidal marsh behind the house is exquisite and so were the big blue herons who walked by. We loved sitting out on the back deck to watch them. It was also wonderful to be able to walk across the street to the sandy beach and swim. My only complaints are minor and more about personal preferences. All of the dinner ware and glasses are plastic, even the wine goblets. The bed linens are polyester instead of cotton. This house in this location deserves an upgrade and some natural materials.

overall a really nice place

Overall a nice place, great location, neighbors friendly, property manager friendly. There were a few negatives, when we arrived the garbage was overflowing outside, smelled and hundreds of flies, called the landlord and they drove right over and took care of it. We also had a day where we had no water from 10 am-4pm, so had to leave for the day. Hard to stay with 9 people in a house with no water, not the fault of the landlord! Never had to stay at a VRBO where we had to wash our own bedding before leaving, too stressful, will make sure to not stay at a place like that again. Septic overflowed so we had to be conservative with our water usage the last night, which was the night we were supposed to wash all the bedding. Overall a beautiful house with a view! Just a few things to be aware of for next time.
