Offering two bedrooms and one bath, this smaller rental comfortably accommodates up to six guests, providing ample space for your entire family or a few couples to unwind and make lasting memories. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by its mostly remodeled interior creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing.

Outside, a large new deck and yard beckons for outdoor activities. Fire up the BBQ and gather around the gas firepit for cozy evenings under the stars, or challenge your friends to a friendly game of cornhole or horseshoes.

Wonderful Getaway!

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay for Labor Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The house is perfect, nicely remodeled with all the amenities you need. Looking forward to staying there again!

Perfect Little Spot

We spent 5 nights at retreat 16. It was perfect for me, my husband and our two kids. For our trip we wanted to spend a lot of time up at the lake so it was the perfect location. This was such a better choice than staying at a hotel somewhere. I hope we get the chance to stay here again.

We will be back!

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect for our family and dog. Very clean and everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood and quick drive to Antlers where we kept our boat. We will definitely be returning next summer, can't wait!

Relaxing and comfortable

The cabin is one of a few found on a street in the woods near the north end of Lake Shasta. There is a small path that leads to an old boat launch that one can use to access the water for swimming and fishing. Although it is advised not to try and bring boats or kayaks that far on foot, it is still very secluded and relatively easy access. The cabin itself is well maintained, clean and comfortable, with an assortment of amenities available including BBQ, fully functional kitchen, TVs in every room, and comfortable furniture. Although not exactly on the lake itself, it is a nice haven for those who like peace and quiet and to be one with nature. I would recommend this cabin experience to anyone and will definitely come back.

Shoe fire

We were in the area working the fire and were lucky to choose this property. It’s away from any other places so it’s very private. They offer all sorts of items to use with the property, like paddle boards and fishing poles. Our families came up for the weekend and the kids loved it. The hosts were so helpful with the few questions I had. It’s a gauranty we will rent from them again. They have several properties the area but this one fit us perfectly. Thankyou for making it so smooth for us. Johnny

We had a blast staying there!

It was a beautiful place to stay for our vacation. It had everything we needed and it felt like home. The yard was a perfect size to fit our boat and truck in and having a fenced yard with a gate made it even better for our dogs we had with us. It was peaceful and relaxing and we will come back and stay there again. Lori and David are the best people to work with which made our stay enjoyable. Thank you Lori and David.

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
