This place is amazing! We will be staying here every time we go to NY. The view is amazing (5th floor). Central Park is one light down, the bus stops at the corner, and subways at 110 and 116 are about a 2 minute walk. Roberto took care of everything, and he also rented me his Cadillac for a night. This is the only place that we’re going to stay in the city.
My friend and I stayed with our three sons, ages 18-21. Roberto was great and very communicative. He met us personally and gave us his parking space. The "boys" loved the entertainment options in the apartment. The access to subway and bus was excellent. So close to Central Park and beautiful views of the Harlem Meer. Great dining options, especially on Frederick Douglass Blvd. Several excellent traditional Harlem Soul Food restaurants nearby -- a real treat!

Does not adequately sleep 6 teenagers/adults Kitchen was sub par Location was not near Times Square at allDark and not well cleaned
Roberto was very responsive and kind. The location is perfect. The living area is very very spacious — tons of room with giant couches - perfect for our group of girls to hang out after exploring the city. Great food within walking distance.
Great stay. Very close to the subway and could get everywhere quickly. Owner was very kind and communicative. Parking was very easy as well which is a huge plus.
The place was great, our host was understanding, accommodating, and welcoming. Great location in NYC! Can’t express enough that host was incredibly friendly and helpful in all ways.
The location was within minutes of everything we wanted to see. The host was extremely gracious and accommodating to our requests. Rooms were large and fully stocked. Would highly recommend.
My stay at this condo was for my friends celebrating her birthday. Roberto was a great host, place is very clean. It is a little far from midtown but subways can take you straight there and ubers are always available. Would definitely stay again!
I rented the unit for two nights for my birthday weekend. My friends were very impressed with how fancy the place is, and how little it cost compared to the average Manhattan suite. I always felt right at home there, and I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing place! Close to just about everything in the city! Train stations around the corner. Safe and very friendly town. I’ll totally come back. The owner is very accommodating and super nice!
We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t have been happier with the seamless communication from our host. Every question we had was answered promptly, making us feel well-supported throughout our visit. The property itself was welcoming and comfortable, providing a perfect base for our trip.
It’s always great when you show up to a place and it’s exactly what is advertised, the host 10/10. Was incredible helpful and kind and prompt! I would for sure stay here again, Thank you.
Came from Rochester, NY to see the Harlem Renaissance exhibit at the Met, a first ever! It was important to me to book nice space in Harlem, so I did and we enjoyed our stay a lot!

Blocks from Central Park, this location is a 20-30 minute drive from Time Square and other Manhattan attractions. There is DEFINITELY potential here for the future, but currently, it is lacking. While uncluttered, it needs a deep cleaning and regular cleanings between stays. Personal items (like loofahs and used bars of soap) should be removed before someone stays. It is in need of some regular maintenance: The shower has no water pressure, and both the bathroom and kitchen sink are stopped up. The toilet handle has to be jiggled repeatedly to stop running. The small table in the kitchen will tip over your food if you bump it wrong. We had to put together the second bedroom’s air conditioner, ourselves, once we found the connection pipe wipe while looking for cleaning supplies for the kitchen. Though not the fault of the host, the air filtration system in this complex is lacking, and the smell of marijuana is strong the second you step into the building. The apartment smelled like smoke (both cigarette and marijuana), and it worsened over our stay there. For people with smoke sensitivities, it is a nightmare. To top it off, the smoke alarm outside the apartment chirped the entire time we were there. The host and the people we met in and around the complex were nice. We hope they can turn this around for the future.

You complained about things that have never been a problem at my property. Why? You asked to bring extra guest at the apartment that weren’t on the reservation. Please don’t complain about things that aren’t true :)
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!SERIOUS MAINTENANCE, HYGIENE, AND SAFETY ISSUES. The kitchen was in such poor condition that it was completely unsafe to use. We couldn’t and wouldn’t even prepare a simple coffee or tea. The kitchen facilities were in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. The photos and description of the apartment are misleading: it’s a 2-bedroom, not 3. What is presented as a 3-bedroom is merely a children’s sofa in the living room. The pictures hide the reality. The place was extremely dirty and had clearly not been cleaned before our arrival.Overall, it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. The surrounding area also felt unsafe. No breakfast included. False advertising!

Manhattan, 3-bedroom condo

Hey Gerlinde! As I explained to you when you booked. VRBO is home sharing. If you wanted to book a small hotel then you could have done that for the beginning. My apartment is one of the largest you will find in NYC and that is because it is in a pre war historical building.
Also, as far as the towels I explained where the extra towels were for the guest you had. The Language barrier confused you on the instructions. All other guest have never had any issues as it shows on my other reviews.
