This is an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit). It is attached to the host's home but has a separate private entrance, separate living space that includes a kitchenette, bathroom, and deck. Very similar to an in-law studio.
This is your home away from home! We're thrilled to host you and want to ensure you have a comfortable and memorable stay. SHARED SPACE

Small Garden: Directly in back of the home is a small garden space with strawberries and herbs. We ask that you not pick any of the fruits/vegetables without prior consent, but you are welcome to hang out at your leisure.
Farm: This is the fenced-in area down the hill which includes the barn and all fenced animal areas. You are welcome to explore the large garden. If you would like to interact with the farm animals or enter an animal enclosure, it must be done in the presence of one of the farm helpers to ensure all gates are properly closed and locked.
Full disclosure: Although the farm is peaceful most of the time it is a farm complete with the sound of crowing, quacking, braying, and mooing. Sometimes there are geese honking, a dog barking and goat nays. All of the farm animals include the smell of the farm if the wind is blowing right. All of the farm animals are friendly and non-threatening, but there is one sassy goose to keep an eye out for. Bring boots for visiting the animals, especially in the winter months when the grass is dead and it is rainy. Please note that this is a farm in the country, and there is always the possibility of encountering critters like bugs, spiders, lizards, etc.

Very pleased with our stay and wish we had been able to spend more time there! The family was very welcoming and friendly, and the space was very clean. Our kids loved looking out and the animals every morning. 😊
The first thing that amazed us was being greeted by Apryl upon our arrival & little chit chat about the place. We had no issue finding the house. The room was very nice & clean. Everything were there for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the walkthrough of the farm area. A microwave in the room will be much appreciated.
We all really appreciated how friendly Apryl was, and she was incredibly accommodating. It is a working farm, so we got to watch her family work and even had some animal interactions. I will say that this property , while very comfy, may be best for 2 people, but we enjoyed the property and it served its purpose. GREAT water pressure and very soft towels. Tgabk you, Apryl!!
The host was very welcoming and assisted us very quickly when we had trouble getting in (user error) and had some heat issues. The room was as expected, clean and suited our needs for the night.
Military brat that lived all over the world, who moved to the country-life from the suburbs to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Now we raise our kids on a farm to get them away from the society norms. Our goal is to raise critical thinkers, who are good human beings and are loved in the world because of their character.
Why they chose this property
It is quiet neighborhood, with beautiful white oak trees, and rolling pastures. Tons of wildlife live on our property.
What makes this property unique
It is an actually working farm. Not like the modern monocrop farms. This farm is like the old fashioned sufficiency farms.
