Rancho Bernardo Peaceful Comfort with Canyon Views


Ideal getaway for retired couple. Bright and cheerful, this immaculate 2br/2ba town home/condo is newly furnished and decorated. We will lease to a maximum of two people. Located only 30min to the airport, beach, scenic La Jolla and Del Mar Racetrack. Yet, just minutes to 6 golf courses. The location is a great way to escape the heat of the Arizona summers for a couple months, or beat the snowy winters of the north.
This 1250sq ft end unit is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The unit overlooks the canyons and Rancho Bernardo with gorgeous afternoon/evening breezes, and sunset views.
Enjoy your sunny morning coffee on the private patio amongst the tasteful landscaping. There is Weber gas grill for barbecues, and a patio table & chairs for outdoor dining.
The comfortable family room has vaulted ceilings and a 50inch flat screen. Flat screen TV is also in the kitchen.
The master bedroom is loaded with closets and storage space. The large master bath is bright with skylight and window, and has all new cabinetry fixtures and Corian counters, as well as solid Corian shower/tub.
Our kitchen is fully equipped, with new appliances, granite counter tops, Bosch dishwasher, double stainless sink. Most routine supplies are furnished (dish detergents, cleaning supplies, paper towels,spices etc.) The breakfast eating area is surrounded by windows and perfect for waking up in the morning while watching the hummingbirds.
Directly off the kitchen is a separate laundry room with new front loading high capacity/efficiency washer and dryer.
Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms and kitchen, and there is central AC.
There is a large pool and hot tub 3 blocks from the unit, as well as 5 lighted tennis courts 4 blocks away.
Several large shopping centers are within 5 minutes drive including everything from Costco to great restaurants and theaters.

Rancho Bernardo has it all yet is very close to all the amenities the greater San Diego area has to offer. The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Petco Park, museums, the ocean and downtown San Diego are just a few of the many activities that can keep you busy.

Wonderful Visit

This was our first experience with VRBO and I can say that the bar was set at it's highest level. The home was quiet, beautifully decorated and maintained. We stayed a little over a month to celebrate the holidays with our son, along with searching for a future home near San Diego for ourselves. The Rancho Bernardo location was perfect for a search in every direction. The hosts couldn't be nicer people!

Fantastic home in a great location and with a great view. Home was nicely decorated and kitchen had everything you would ever need. Accessible to everything without having to go on the freeway. Owner was very responsive to our questions. Simple checkin and checkout process. We will defintely return.

Private, peaceful

This is an excellent property for a quiet getaway. It is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants . The condo is spacious and nicely decorated and has all the necessary utinsels for daily living. The owner was very responsive to our concerns. The WiFi was not working and he called the provider to fix it for us. We had two concerns during our stay no TV nor radio in the master BR meant that when I was watching sports or wanting to watch our late night shows the only option was the small TV in the kitchen. The extra charge for the utilities even tho we turned down the heat at night etc. Overall it was an excellent condo that I would highly recommend for others and return to if it were available . Cozy Quiet Get-Away

The property is very cute and cozy. It was generally pretty quiet during the month I/we were there as it is at the end of the cul-de-saq. It's the perfect size for two or three people and the neighbors are great.

Perfect Getaway!

I was looking for a place to stay for a month while my daughter had her 2nd child so I could help out. This condo was perfect! It was clean, updated and tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood. The views were unbelievable and it had easy access to the freeway. I will plan to stay again next year if all works out.

Our experience with the rental property was excellent. It was obvious that the condo had recently been upgraded and redecorated. All required ammenities were provide. We only have one compaint (observation). There was no telephone. The VRBO list of ammenites indicated that a phone was provided and long distance was free. Roaming fees for our Canadian cell phones became prohibitively expensive.

NY loves Rancho Bernardo rental

The house has everything you could possibly need to have a delightful stay here in San Diego and Rancho Bernardo. The floors are all new wood and tile the baths are wonderfully upgraded with corian. Great views from the upgraded kitchen with all new appliances makes cooking and dining fun. Use the folding chairs to enjoy the lovely sunsets each evening or the back patio for grilling and dining. The one car garage has lots of storage and there is additional parking for guests just outside and on the nearby lots and streets. The owners are delightful and friendly and have a done a great job decorating with Crate and Barrel throughout the house. We will be coming back in October and look forward to coming back to our home away from home.
