Boston Stay

This was an amazing place to stay as we visited the east coast. It was a very short drive to Boston. Super clean, modern, and a quiet complex. We plan on traveling back east in the spring and hope this place is still available.

Great overall experience at this property. Felt very secured and safe. Across the street is a grocery store and food choices nearby. Great location.

We were happy about the location to Boston, access to trains and space for four people to share. The apartment (model unit) is showing its wear and in a very loud building. You can hear plumbing and walking from other floors. Parking was provided but transponder did not work. That said, our biggest issue for this experience was a very unresponsive host. Our check in was delayed by 3 hours and, with no communication from the host, we waited in the hallway until the cleaner was finished. Later in our stay, there was a major plumbing issue that took reaching out to VRBO to get response from the host. Again, good location, enough space for four people but disappointing experience overall.

Nice unit

Nice and spacious unit. Had one big issue. The smoke detector was missing in master bedroom. So we had to sleep in guest room. This is a violation of vrbo policy, building policy and the city building department fire code violation. Not happy about this. This should NEVER happen.

Pro’s: New building, feels safe, the unit itself was clean, responsive host, balcony is a nice feature Con’s: This is a typical apt built by a slum developer; the ceiling/floor walls are paper thin. That is not an exaggeration. You can hear conversations, every closet, cabinet, and drawer door closing sounds like bowling balls dropping, every foot step sounds like a bowling ball dropping. The floor even feels soft, there is no insulation so if sleep is important to you, this is 100% not for you Also this unit is a model unit so the furniture is the cheapest available. I didn’t know such uncomfortable furniture existed, IKEA would have felt luxury in comparison The garage sensor was not in the unit as stated in the instructions. The host did get it to me later that same day, however when I went to use it the following day, it didn’t work. A maintenance person tried it as well, didn’t work, they had to open the door for me from the inside. I didn’t even bother after that as it wasn’t worth the hassle. While the unit itself does appear clean, the towels are in need of being replaced
