Thank u for the kind words! Couldn’t have said it better myself!
My girlfriends and I needed to attend a conference in Lakeland and wanted to stay together. This was the perfect answer! We enjoyed the Sweet Home feel. The 3 bedrooms were efficiently laid out, as well as plenty of space in the three living areas. The host has provided games and seating spaces and some fun essentials in the kitchen. Everything was very clean, easy to access. The neighborhood is charming, easy access to the lake and to shopping. The parking was plenty. I highly recommend this choice. And would choose it again next time I am in town.

I loved this house. The location had great spots to hang out, clean linens, easy check-out procedures and a responsive owner. Not a lot of items in the kitchen, but it was sufficient for everything I needed. Will definitely stay again!

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad the kitchen met your needs during your stay. Just to share a bit of background—this home was lived in and loved by my wife and our three children for five years, so the kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials for day-to-day cooking, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
We intentionally don’t stock spices or perishable items for hygiene and freshness reasons, but we always encourage guests to let us know if anything is missing. I personally check in during each stay to ensure guests have what they need, and I’m always happy to provide or order additional items if something’s not available.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we appreciate you taking the time to leave a review!
This charming hundred year old lady does not disappoint! Quaint bungalow style home with charming comfortable furnishings made my family feel right at home! All the amenities needed for a weekend trip. Highly recommend!

Yes, no dishwasher in a 100 year old house. I had the option of getting one and I said no. I don’t any character, I want to stay n that century. I want to have as many things as original as we can. So yes, no dishwasher! Got to use that elbow grease!!
We really enjoyed our stay! We travel to Lakeland several times a year, and this was the most convenient location we've had yet. Super close to everything. Loved staying in the house. Very clean, well equipped. Stephen is an excellent host and checked on us several times. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

We came for Sun n Fun but fell in love with Lakeland and this charming neighbourhood and this house! The house is vintage but updated with a good functional kitchen, a great shower and excellent laundry machines -- and fabulously effective AC! We really enjoyed our stay and found our host to be really friendly and responsive. Good tv, lots of games and books. Great parking and an outdoor area to relax in.

Thank you! It has been fun hosting you and your family for over a month!
I live in Maryland and wanted to book a few days in Florida to escape the cold. Stephen’s house was just what we needed. Very comfortable and clean - and in a great neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the lake - or local shopping. My husband and teenager both enjoyed our visit. I would definitely recommend this rental. Our favorite places were Born and Bread (walkable) and Munn Park (very short drive away)

Loved having these guest. This is a great place to escape the cold and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. Lots of outside walking and places to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
This was a nice place, very clean and lots of room. I stayed there with my husband and three of my kids. They had a kitchen that was fully stocked and cleaning products, like dishwashing liquid as well. The bathroom included body wash, soap, shampoo and other little essentials. The thing I really liked was how welcomed I felt. There were games and books and even coffee pods! The fact I could bring my old dog and she was able to sleep in the sun really made the trip even better. Plus it was close to where I needed to be. I wish I had more time to enjoy the yard with it's tables and hanging lights. Would definitely stay here again if I need to stay in the area!
We loved staying at this charming 3/1. The owner was very clear in his communication and sent arrival instructions in plenty of time. I loved that there was Keurig coffee, water bottles, filtered water in the fridge and even wine! The beds were comfy - harder and softer pillows on each - plenty to choose from! Everything was so clean - I can't find a thing to complain about. The neighborhood is quiet and only a block from a lake that has a nice hike/bike trail. I'm a runner, so it's important to me to have a safe place to run in the morning - it was perfect. I highly recommend and would choose it again for myself.
