Had my mother’s celebration of life service here. It had Great areas for people to congregate , plenty of rocking chairs on the porch and beautiful views of the ocean. There was plenty of refrigerator space and everyone enjoyed the house

My family and I enjoyed this house very much. It was very spacious and yet had areas where small groups could get away when desired. The nearness to the beach and beautiful views were outstanding. We were able to keep our eyes on the kids from the deck, and they were allowed some autonomy. The elevator made it very accessible for our older family members. Not house related, but the weather all week (early July) was wonderful, which made it doubly enjoyable. I highly recommend this house, and would stay here again with no hesitation.

Our family had a fabulous week! Southern Grace was so nice. The 16 bedrooms with attached baths were wonderful. The huge kitchen, tables and multiple living rooms were so nice for hanging out, eating, playing games. We even had a round puzzle table. We spent hours rocking on the multiple decks. We enjoyed the pool, tiki bar and beach. Played a lot of corn hole on the bottom level. Eveyone agree the beds were so confortable. Eveything went so smoothly! We used the big lobster pots for a seafood boil. There is a beautiful big clean laundry room on each level too. We have rentedbig homes many times from beaches to mountains and we all agree this house was the best. The AC worked great and kept every bedroom nice and cool too. You will love Southern Grace!

Everything was great! It is a nice spacious house. Everyone had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the big kitchen for all our cooking! The house was clean and had all the amenities that we needed! Host was very friendly and helpful. Will be booking again!

Fantastic location and space for a work meeting of 16 adults. The space allowed for not only great meeting space options but also allowed everyone to have their own personal space. The host was responsive with any questions that we had during our stay. The location of the property is unbelievable with access to the beach. It was a bit too cold for us to use the pool and the host was honest with us regarding paying extra for heating. Would definitely consider this location again for our group!

Great Stay

Our group normally rotates from the mountains to the beach for our annual retreats. We are now thinking of staying at this house only for our annual retreat. The house was well-maintained, and clean, and everybody had their own bathroom!

Family Reunion

Great place to stay. Plenty of space for cooking, eating and playing games together in the house. Nice beach access with easy cleanup before hitting the pool. Rocking chairs on the balconies got a lot of use. Lovely week with the family.

We truly had the best time ever and cannot say enough great things about this house!!We had a group of 50ish college friends and close family all stay for our wedding weekend. The house was the perfect size for all of us to have our own space and enjoy time together. The beach access was great, the pool and tiki bar were just fun touches and everything was SO clean and cute! Communication was great and even where there was a little hiccup with the pool heating, the hosts quickly let us know and sent us our refund. I have no regrets about booking this house and would do it again! All of our guests repeatedly emphasized how much they loved the house and the area too! Greg was beyond helpful with sending recommendations for our wedding night and sharing info on what other couples have done. It made it so much less stressful and my wedding night was especially perfect. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Big family vacation

Great house for a large family gathering. Very accommodating. Very large spacious kitchen and more than enough beds in each room. Strictly a beach vacation since there is very little of entertainment and restaurants for teens but we loved being on the beach.

Glad you liked it Rich. For your next visit, there are three nearby restaurants on the island and plenty more off island or farther down on the island. There is also a park just down the road for the kids with tennis and volleyball. Let alone fishing, surfing, biking and kayaking. And if you golf, a course right on the other side of the bridge.

Fantastic House!!

We had a great week with friends and family in this wonderful house. There was plenty of room to spread out or gather together. Great host that had a few things we needed done fixed immediately. We will definitely return!

Amazing home

We rented this property for a small intimate wedding weekend of 40 people. It could not have been a more perfect venue and lodging option! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The dining/great room and balcony was so perfect for seated meals and gathering! The pool area accommodated our entire group and was a highlight with heated pool! Thank you Greg!

Outstanding - Highly recommend

The perfect place for a large family - the kitchen setup is the best we've experienced with multiples of all appliances and plenty of seating for everyone to eat together. The beds were very comfortable! Loved the ocean view and watching the dolphins from the deck. We had a great time at the pool. Greg was great to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended++++

Gorgeous house, great owner

We had a family vacation here and it was lovely. Despit the terrible weather from Debbie, we felt so comfortable in the house and made the best, ultimately had a great time. The only complaint we really have is wishing there was a hot tub. It would have been really nice to have one, especially with raining weather.

Perfect wedding weekend stay

This house was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Firstly, we couldn’t have asked for better views! Plus, the house is set up so perfectly for an event that we knew we would have a great time whether rain or shine. Most importantly, Greg was incredible to work with! He communicated with us from start to finish, provided local recommendations and checked-in periodically to make sure we had any and all information we needed to ensure a great weekend!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our large group enjoyed this well-appointed home for our family vacation! The house was clean, equipped with everything we needed to cook meals and the common areas were large enough to accommodate our group of about 30 which ranged from toddlers to grandparents. The accessibility of the home was also wonderful. The beach access and views from the house were appreciated by all. It was easy to step out onto the second or third level porch and see the pool and the beach which we loved. The dance floor area made for a fun party atmosphere! Additionally, the owners of the home were very responsive to our inquires. We will definitely recommend this home to our family and friends traveling to the area and can’t wait to return for our next vacation!

Great experience - would books again

This probably is a great option for large groups. The owners were very intentional about ensuring that the house was prepared to comfortably accommodate groups. There was plenty of space to spread out! We cooked together as well as ordered out a few times. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking a breeze. There were three dish washers, so dishes never piled up. Each bedroom had a bathroom, which is such a great perk. The view is beautiful. I could write more, but overall, we had a great time. I would book her again!

Beach Wedding

Magical venue! Guests from all over the country drove or flew in. Plenty of parking for the drivers and proximity of airport(s) made it a breeze. Beautiful rooms and amenities! Local professionals with whom we worked were familiar with this gorgeous venue making the wedding "production" so much easier. All the guests were thrilled with the accommodations, enjoyed the pool, the beach, and did I mention the Tiki Bar! So fun! Property manager, Greg gave us so many helpful suggestions. Most importantly, our son and daughter-in-law, and the people we love most in this world had a fabulous time. We absolutely recommend the wonderful Southern Grace experience! THANK YOU!! - Beth

Incredible Family Reunion Spot!

WOW! Where do I even start…. This property is incredible! There is so much space even with 40 people staying for 7 nights, we never once felt crowded. Upon arrival we had a user error getting in to the house and the property owner, Greg, was immediately available when I called for assistance (thank you again!). The beach front view is breathtaking. Private access to the sand keeps daily beach outings more than convenient. The pool at the house is just a bonus! I cannot say enough good things about the entire property and the experience we had while staying in Topsail. We’re already planning our next trip back. 10/10 recommend!

Family getaway

The property was wonderful! We all were a little bummed out when the pool guy came on Saturday at the end of our trip to clean the pool. We would have like to had a clean pool for our stay also. We had quite a bit of sand in the pool when we checked in and the water was a little green. We missed in the information provided that you do not supply wash rags or scrubbers for the dishes. So we had to go out to purchase them. Thank you for renting such a beautiful house, we had a great time.

The pool cleaners come out twice a week, and more as needed if someone asks, so not sure what happened. Dish towels are provided. I know a big kitchen but you need to look in all the drawers. In general, always ask during your stay and things can be fixed or improved.
