Shockingly sun-drenched lower level (below grade) two bedroom flat. Lovingly curated for your adventures! Please let us know if you need anything during your stay, we will do our best to accommodate you!

This is a duplex with a separate entrance at the back of the house, through a gated yard. The two units share an adjoining door that is always locked, but they are fully independent units.

The rental was so well put together with the comfort of renters in mind. The kitchen was well stocked with LOTS of tea (rare to see so much tea!), had excellent decor, and was very quiet despite being in the basement of the home. The host was incredibly responsive and had no issues for the duration of the stay!

Fit our needs perfectly

We had a great time and loved the kitchen in particular!! This isn't a place to watch TV. This is where you drink a bottle of wine with a game of skip-bo. Very clean, sooo much though of our well-being. 6stars.

Best amenities ever!

This little gem went beyond our expectations. I’ve never been in a more well stocked Air B & B! Clare thought of EVERYTHING you would ever need and beyond to make your stay comfortable and feel like home. Every appliance was top of the line and you could cook a full course meal in the kitchen if you wanted to. The place was sparkling clean and so uniquely decorated. We were definitely spoiled with all of the nice touches and amenities and none of us wanted to leave! It was central to the airport, Mt Ranier, Snoqualmie and Seattle. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen—every cooking utensil and tool we could possibly need was provided, making meal prep a breeze.The host’s communication was excellent throughout our stay, providing clear instructions and quick responses to any questions. It’s evident they truly care about their guests’ experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning in the future.Highly Recommended

Great Stay in Downtown Auburn!

We stayed at Clare's place as part of a relocation/return back to the PNW after 5 years in AZ. We needed somewhere centrally located near our friends and family for a home base while we searched for our forever home. Clare's apartment was just lovely. Cosy and thoughtfully appointed, she has clearly put a lot of time and love into renovating and decorating the space.We loved that we had separate bedrooms so our daughter had her own space. The kitchen and living area gave us enough space to comfortably eat and relax, and despite being a basement the area does bring in good light.We were travelling with our 2 cats and really appreciated that Clare is pet friendly and our fur babies had a space to stay with us.Clare was a fantastic host, very accommodating, very friendly, and easy to reach with questions. We enjoyed meeting Piper the dog and even spied Margot the cat a couple of times! Thank you, Clare :)

What makes this property unique

This house was built in 1924, and our block was the first block in the entire town! The entire renovation was done by hand with love, DIY style. We picked every tile and installed them by hand, made or thrifted all of our art, and curated every knick-knack with our guests in mind.

Our favorite feature in the flat is a custom '62 Seattle World's Fair Mural in the kitchen, made from genuine newspaper clippings from 1962. We've re-arranged the entire newspaper into a modern interpretation of Seattle today. Come check it out!
