The Beach House is two feet off the sandy beach of Colchester Point. This place is located on the widest part of the beach and was custom designed to accommodate your family without bumping into each other. Feel the wonderful lake breeze or turn on central AC on those windless nights. Enjoy roasting marshmallows and bonfires on the beach. Only 15 minutes to downtown Burlington and 1/2 mile to the major Bike Path.

We had a great time staying at the beach house. Easy check-in, great location and Bill was super helpful and accommodating. The water was nice for swimming and using the paddle boards. The house was clean with everything we needed. It was a relaxing week.

The house was so lovely, and the location was just gorgeous. We fully enjoyed ourselves, waking up to the beauty of the lake and if no cloud coverage, a star-filled night sky. My family enjoyed the use of Kayaks and paddle boards and swimming in the lake with its soft sandy bottom. We are already planning our return.

Great Stay!

My family really enjoyed this property, the views and location on the lake were amazing. The house was clean, had everything we needed and the size was perfect for the 5 of us. Plenty to do, we loved the kayaks, paddle boards and the nearby causeway. Excellent stay, would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in this lovely home. Jessica and Bill were very generous hosts and worked to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as it could possibly have been. The location is superb.

Fantastic views

Right on Lake Champlain with nice beach area. House is roomy and well equipped. Our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. A great experience all around!

Great fall vacation

We had a great time at this beautiful property! The views of the lake from the house were stunning! Private beach was so nice and we really enjoyed the kiyaks and paddle boards provided! The kitchen was well stocked. The bike path causeway that goes put over the water was very nearby.

Beautiful view

Nice layout for 2 couples, each with king bed and a connected bath. Steps from the lake shore and big windows to enjoy the view. Highly recommend it!

This was an absolutely wonderful- BEAUTIFUL - property! If you want to experience Lake Champlain- every morning is a breathtaking view! Big windows face the lake and the spacious layout allows you to stretch out and relax and ENJOY! Hosts were very responsive- we asked about bikes and they had them there within hours. The house was immaculate. We would love to return to this house and wished we could have had a few more days. Such a lovely place to get away to.Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Even better than we thought

This property is so lovely! It was comfortable and peaceful and even with rain the entire time we were there, was so nice to be right on the beach and enjoy morning coffee with that amazing view. Was there for UVM graduation and it was about a 20-25 minute drive from campus which was perfect for us because we didn't have the stress or congestion of Burlington. And, the owners were so accommodating in letting us do some car repairs in their garage - can't recommend this location enough!

Understated Gem!

This is a beautiful, well-appointed home on a nice, sandy beach. The view is fantastic with the Green Mountains on one side and the Adirondacks on the other. The A/C came in handy with the unseasonably warm weather. The location is very convenient to just about anything that you would need. The owners (Bill and Jessica) were easily accesible and very friendly.

Beautiful home right on the beach

We had a lovely week in Colchester. The house is in pristine condition, with lots of thoughtful touches and modern appliances. I was there with my two teenagers , my husband, and my mom. The layout of the house was such that everyone had plenty of space and privacy. Everything was organized and easy to find. We loved using the paddle boards and kayaks.

I wound highly recommend staying at this lake house. It was a simple self check in and the owner responded quickly to my questions and needs. I needed more dish towels and they were delivered soon after my request. We had a group of 7, 3 being under 4. The shared space easily accommodated p this large group. It has an ideal sandy beach for small children as the water is shallow quite a ways out into the lake. The owner supplied pairs of paddle boards and kayaks which were fun to use to go out for sunset paddles. It’s a perfect location to ride directly to the Causeway bike path and into Burlington.

Family downtime

Property was very accomodating for a variety of needs and set up for success. We had teens needing remote study space as well as active family members and the listing was extremely accurate. View of the lake does not get any better. Gorgeous and wade in easy. So close to the bike path causeway and a quick hop to the local grocery, a few restaurants or even the Burlington variety and a Costco!

Magical stay on Lake Champlain!

My family had the best stay at this beautiful home. Peaceful, quiet location with incredible water views from the large windows. Furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, and the grill worked great. Wifi worked well, and owner answered questions quickly. The beach was amazing, and we were so fortunate to watch the solar eclipse from this perfect spot. We also enjoyed walking the Colchester Causeway, visiting downtown Burlington, and brunch at The Blue Paddle Bistro in South Hero. Would love to come back again in the summer to enjoy all the lake activities at this amazing home! Our stay could not have been any better!

I didn't ever to every leave

Incredibly convenient to Lake Champlain. Literally you step out the back door and you're on the beach. It was incredibly peaceful but also equipped for families with young children. The house is spacious and comfortable with lots of places to sit and view the lake. I was incredibly pleased by how well equipped the kitchen was. Seriously. There was not a utensil or cooking implement that I wanted. That was not here and in good shape. I absolutely loved staying here.

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely VRBO. It is right on the water and we had gorgeous weather to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and bike on the Causeway and into Burlington. The house is well equipped for all those activities and to cook when not eating out. I appreciated not having to shop for tiny things like salt and pepper, oil, etc. Bill was great and responded quickly and kindly to all my questions. We were four adults so the only sleeping issue for us was that one of my daughters had to sleep on a bunk bed but we knew that ahead of time. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you Bill!

Loved the lake!

Beautiful house right on Lake Champlain. Plenty of room for a family of 6 or more, but also cozy for just the two of us. Everything was as we wanted it on our lake getaway! We stayed at the end of September and still enjoyed walks on the beach. Although the wind was howling when we arrived, you couldn't hear it in the house. Look forward to staying again next year

Why they chose this property

I grew up spending my summers in this area and think it is one of the best summer spots in Vermont. The sand and water is always clean in this area because the lake is so wide with South winds always bringing waves. Looking at a map you will see it is a beach in the middle of a huge lake. 8 miles to Burlington

What makes this property unique

New New New everything is brand new. Guest room has king bed and door into full bathroom. Master has king bed, private bathroom, big closet, huge view of beach. Garage door separates kitchen and porch in case you want to run AC while still having screen porch amenities. Shade trees on beach in case you don't like umbrellas. Gradual sandy slope once in water makes is the perfect place to hang out, play, relax anchor boat or raft etc..
