Once a small fishing village, this once hidden gem is the place to bring a small family or group and enjoy walking the town.

Location convenient to places we wanted to visit. There are no steps at the house which was great for us. The house was very clean and comfortable. Hope we can visit again soon!

This cottage was perfect for a fishing weekend for us (two adults, each in the separate bedrooms). It was very convenient to the Southport waterfront, groceries, restaurants, and to Oak Island. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. We would definitely use this cottage as our home base for another weekend.

Southport 4th weekend

We wanted a place close to down town to be able see parade and other activities. About a mile to water front. Comfortable house, very clean and nicely furnished. Be aware since it is on the Main Street, the front bedroom is a little noisy. Would stay there again.

Perfect for Us

We loved our stay here!! Home decor was pretty and inviting. Clean place with great hot water and lots of room. Being one level was helpful, so there was no dragging stuff up and downstairs. Beds and couches were super comfy and kitchen had all you needed for a quick getaway. Location was convenient, being only 20 mins from Oak Island beach and walking distance to Southport waterfront. Communication with the host was great, which was much appreciated! Truly a successful trip thanks to the convenience of this little home. We will be visiting again! 😊
