The home was so charming! They truly thought of every detail in this adorable home. Andy, the owner was also very accommodating when we had a last minute change in our plans. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
The home is GORGEOUS! The blankets on the beds are warm and cozy and the pillows are so soft. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and is stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. if you plan to do some cooking.
Booked this Vrbo for my parents & god-parents for their anniversaries. They absolutely LOVED it. It was exactly as shown in the pictures & was just so comfy to visit. If you’re looking for a nice, local getaway spot that won’t break the bank, highly recommend this Vrbo!
Beautiful place, lots of parking for multiple cars, easy check-in, loved the decor felt just like being at home! It had everything we needed and more! We will be visiting again!
A perfect, peaceful getaway. This 180-year-old inn, in the quiet hills of PA, is beautifully renovated, honoring its history while offering modern interior and comfort.Would love to return.
We had a wonderful stay at this home and found it to be very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this home and hope to come back again!
This property was great. Centrally located to where we were working. Relaxing, comfortable and the host was AMAZING. (Especially since i forgot some valuable items and live 3 hours away.) Host communication was fantastic.

High end property, well appointed kitchen for all cooking needs, luxurious rooms, bathrooms, etc.
Loved all the extras that we weren’t expecting, pleasantly surprised.
Comfortable, cozy, relaxing, great for entertaining.
would like to have a trash can because 5 people can fill up fast. A little miss giving about the flower garden. But over all a great place to stay.

Thanks for a great review. You were great guests. We hope you can visit again and get a full tour of the acres of flowers (I think you only saw the little garden out back). Thanks!
The house is stunning and EVERY detail has been considered. The kitchen was fabulous for cooking, the side porch beautiful at night with silence and the sound of crickets, the being was soft and comfortable. There literally was not thing I would have improved upon!
We stayed for 3 nights in this great renovation of an old farmhouse. Next door to a nice flower farm and out in the beautiful country. House very well appointed, with many nice up to date features. VERY comfortable.

Thanks, Bill. It was great to host you and we're so glad you loved the house. It's a special place.
Our group of four colleagues stayed for a writing retreat and were "snowed in" for a day! Although we did not get to experience the flowers or gardens in the winter, we did appreciate the well decorated home and the easy access to our local homes when things with kids inevitability arose. Andy made sure the parking lot was cleared for us after it snowed. The kitchen was great for our prepared meals (we brought a crock pot) and lots of coffee while we worked. Overall a peaceful retreat!

About the host
Hosted by Andy Snyder
I fell in love with the hospitality industry while working as a fishing guide at a remote, fly-in lodge in Alaska. I met folks from all over the world and loved hearing their stories and learning about what makes them unique. Now, my wife and get to do that with this ultra-unique home and our popular flower farm. Everybody has a story. That's what makes it so fun.
Why they chose this property
We tell folks that we are 20 minutes from anything... and 20 minutes from everything. Our family loves to take day trips -- whether it's a short trip to Gettysburg or Lancaster or something longer to the beach or New York City. From our perfectly located farm, we can be to any of these places quickly... and yet come home to serenity and rural peace.
What makes this property unique
The home is unique for so many reasons. To start, it's an elegantly restored 1850s farm house, with hand-hewn logs and "modern rustic" styling. Everybody who has ever stayed there comments on the gorgeous decor. Even more unique is the property the home sits on. It's home to the region's largest (and most-popular) cut flower farm. A stay at the house is like cutting in line. You get a front-row seat to the show. You can tour the property, walk the fields and be just steps from the gorgeous fields of flowers. Try that anywhere else!
