Classic oceanfront condo on the second floor with private balcony and ocean views. Fully equipped kitchen, with all stainless-steel appliances, new kitchen cabinets & granite countertops! Now offering both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig—perfect for every coffee preference! Restore after a long day at the beach in the beautifully tiled walk-in shower or catch up on a show via the 50" Smart TV in the living room with cable!

*PLEASE NOTE: The Sea Cabins community will be undergoing scheduled roof and HVAC stand replacements from October 20th, 2025 through Spring 2026, with work taking place in phases by building. Each building will be closed to guests during its scheduled work period, so you can rest assured that construction will not occur in the building you are staying in. Minimal noise or disruption is expected, and we appreciate your understanding as these important community improvements are completed.

Great location and perfect for small families

I was very happy with the unit. It was so close to restaurants and the beach. You never had to leave the unit, but even the town center with all the shops was close.It is a smaller unit without a lot of space for your clothes, but that is the only complaint. They do have a laundry mat on sight.

Only negatives are the soft bed and the saggy couch.

Good communication from start to finish with the realty company. Easy check-in after hours. Easy parking. Pictures of the unit are accurate. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful ocean view from the balcony where we spent our mornings with coffee and a book. Easy walk to beach and pier. Lots of restaurants locally (Acme Low Country Kitchen, Sea Biscuit Cafe, Long Island cafe) and easy drive to Charleston and Mt Pleasant. Great vacation!

Sea Cabin 235C Review

When we arrived our unit was already occupied. Management did have another room for one night, but we're going to move us to a first floor unit for the next two nights and I did not want a first floor unit where the ocean was not visible. Supposedly they did not have any other available units, so we had to find another property ourselves that did! Very disappointing experience!

We went up to our room and it was still dirty with everything pulled out of the cabinets. They came back to clean our room and we noticed traps everywhere and we saw live coach roaches during our stay.

Linens and bath towels, as well as starting supplies (tp, dish sponges, paper towels, etc.) were all included per the description. Kitchen equipment fully stocked. It was clean and cooled down upon arrival. We had absolutely no issues during our stay.The convenience factor was unbeatable - truly just steps from the beach with a private gated entrance. The grocery store was also only a short walk away and had everything needed. Nearby restaurants also walkable and delicious. Easy to call Ubers when wanting to explore further away. Zero complaints, would recommend and will stay again.

Great and disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love this cabin and have stayed there before. The bed is still the same. You sink in a hole in the middle and hard to get out of bed. The mattress needs to be replaced. The TV was not working properly. It was set up to Ruko and wanted to to log in. The trash can was a mess and couldn’t use it because someone took the actual can out of the trash compartment and did not replace it. The freezer had a door tray sitting in it that must have been broken off the door of the freezer. The shower regardless where you set the door, water would end up on the outside floor. These are things we dealt with but had a great time! I come each year for a week and I’ll still rent again. I know these are things that just need minor adjustments.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me begin with, I normally stay at timeshare rentals. Which I would have assumed this to be the same. I was told that the room would be stocked with items to accommodate the max people that could stay in the room. We had 4 towels for a room that slept 6. It was a girls trip of grown women. Not a family that could possibly share items. 1 roll of toilet paper. I would have assume at least 2. The room was nice and as expected but I think I am just used to having more items and not having to buy basic toiletries on vacation. Everything else was as expected. Check in was the BEST I have ever encountered. The fridge took a while to cool down once we checked in and the air was never super cold. But again I think these expectations are based on my timeshare I own at a different location.

Please note that SC 235 is advertised to sleep 4 people not 6. Our housekeeping does provide enough linens to accommodate 4 guests. It is understandable that you would need more than 1 roll of toilet paper in your stay and as our paperwork does state we start you off with a "starter pack" of items such as toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, soap, etc. It is important for all of our guests to read the paperwork we send with your reservation so that you can be fully informed in the things that you need for your vacation, when renting a vacation rental. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Island Realty is so glad that your check in process was so great! Thank you again for sending us this review. It is will guest feedback that we can improve our service!

Cute little beach rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Convenient location and very nice rental with private pool and beach access. Directly across the street from shops and food. The rental can hold up to 6 people, but the sleeping quarters are all small so I would recommend families with kids only and not a group of adults. It was perfect for us with 2 adults and one 15 year old that slept on pullout couch. Bunks are very skinny and were not used although they would be good for smaller kids. 15 year old did mention pullout wasn't very comfortable but that is typical for a pullout couch. Only negative was the shower door leaked. I have read in reviews it has been leaking for years and there appears to be possible water damage to bathroom door and hall floor. Didn't affect our stay, but it is a shame for the owners the beautiful tile shower leaks. We solved the problem by putting two washcloths right against the shower and the floor mat beyond them to allow the wash cloths to gather the pool of water. After each shower, the soaked wash cloths could be wrung out immediately to prevent the water from running across the floor. Aside from the shower leak, the rental is well maintained with a great location to activities, food, and fun. Would have no problems returning for another stay!

Needs some interior improvement

But unit's interior needs improvement: bathroom grout needs a good cleaning, the plastic edge to the shower wall is loose, the kitchen needs to be organized and more cups and glasses and bowls are needed - all felt like it was furnished from a thrift shop. The coffee pot takes forever to be ready, The not-by-code microwave is installed too high for a shorter person and is a liability - trying to reach up so high for a hot container. The high chairs on the balcony need a high table to be useful for eating - the low table there is uncomfortable. The bar stools are mis-matched... wouldn't recommend this unit until some interior improvements are made. I've owned rental properties myself so have a perspective on what to expect for the cost.

A few improvements needed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sea Cabin 235 was service clean only.... was not clean. The floor was dirty and needs to be replaced. Floor under sofa was filthy . The fake floors must have had water damage so they were rippled up a bit. The Club chair and sofa were old, worn, & dirty . ..I had to cover both pieces with sheets to sit on. The bar stools were old, hard to move and coffee table. The deck chairs were very uncomfortable and hard to enjoy. The carpet on the deck dirty and stained. The ceiling fans ..very dusty...during use dust would fly around the room ...causing coughing and discomfort. The cabin had only 2 coffee mugs.....which was an inconvenience. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a sponge. The bathroom was nice with the new shower . The granite was lovely. We will return to Isle of Palms.. but not to Sea Cabin 235. We knew it was on the smaller side but you can really feel it when you get inside. For the 3 of us it was fine but if my other son came I’m not sure it would work. It would have been really nice to have a TV in the bedroom. Just another place to go & relax. The cabin slept 6 but only 4 towels were provided. Again there was only 3 of us but would have been nice to not do laundry so often. My teenage son was going to sleep on the pull out but said it was very uncomfortable & just slept on top of the couch. Overall it was a great little place. It had everything we needed & a great location with a nice view of the ocean.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location to the beach and a few restaurants is fantastic, so this place definitely met those expectations. The problem we ran into was upon arriving the condo was not cleaned well. In fact, during a time like this with COVID-19, you would expect places to take cleaning even more seriously but that was clearly not the case here. We had to go to the grocery store and buy cleaning supplies so that we could clean the place and feel safe. Very unfortunate and not acceptable.
