We really like this property having previously stayed there last November. For my husband and I and one dog it’s the perfect size and location is great. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in OBX.

4th July vacation

Great cozy right off beach cottage. Easy access to the beach and all attractions. Owner checked with us upon arrival was very friendly and told us to make him aware of any problems we might encounter (there were none).

Hidden Gem!

We had a fantastic week! The beach is so close! Up a few stairs and over the sand dune to the beach. Perfect location. Our dog Mac had a great time. He even made some friends. We met David. He is the kindest gentleman. We hung out in the front of our place which we called “ Manson Alley” and met some really nice people. So many restaurants close. Cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We had so much fun! Can’t wait to go back!!

What a gem!

We Love OBX

My husband, our Pom and I had a great time! We love to visit Nags Head and stay at one of the 2 Fish Cay cottages. Very close to the ocean... only a short walk. The picnic tables and hammock were a lot of fun to use. We also enjoyed going to Greentail's Seafood Market for some fresh shrimp and scallops. We, as always, look forward to our next visit to 2 Fish Cay, Nags Head, NC!

Easy check in. Owner David was flexible for early check in and responded quickly to questions. Only drawbacks were uncomfortable / stained couch, loud dishwasher, malfunctioning tub / shower diverter, tight parking. This is a cottage within walking distance to great beach. The cottage is nicely appointed with high end pots and pans and cutlery. Cottage was VERY clean! David offered to help load up our trailer. I declined but who does that anymore? Just an outstanding owner. Thanks David for your hospitality..

No beach view, kitchen floor was sticky /dirty, nats all over, bathroom wall broken/ falling apart, kitchen cabinets were sticky/dirty to touch. The host was pleasant, gave us sheets and towels as we forgot to bring them. I appreciate his kindness.

We had a relaxing week at the beach. Weather not great but we still rode bikes several days. Beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked, easy walk to beach, lifeguard right next door!

Just what we needed!

Perfect get away for us and our 2 dogos! If you are concerned about the thread count of your sheets at home, valet parking or any other highbrow nonsense this is probably not your place. If you're looking for looking for a cute little cottage on the beach that's pet friendly, you found it. It was perfect for our needs!

Fall Get-Away

We wanted to take a mini vacation with the family and dogs and come across Hootie and the Blue Fish at 2 Fish Cay. What a little gem of a cottage. Small cottage but big enough for 4 adults and 2 larger dogs. Very clean and owner checked on us more than once to ensure everything was okay. We definitely plan to make a return trip next October!

Hootie is a hoot

We rented the cottage for 5 days and brought our pup along. The place was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies and toiletries. The owner even left a treat bag for our dog. We enjoyed our stay at this property and the location.

Prime location!

The long weekend stay at Hootie and blue fish was amazing! The location is great and just a few steps away from the beach! The cottage is clean and have a nice kitchen for cooking! A great choice if you plan for a family trip to OBX!

Cute cottage in awesome location

This is our second time staying at this location. We chose it the first time because it was dog friendly and on the beach. You can’t beat the location and the price, so we came back again! We take our bicycles and ride them everywhere. Located across the street from Tortuga’s Lie and Galaxy Golf and next the public beach access, Which is handicap friendly. The owner, Dave, Is a great host and makes you feel welcomed. We will definitely stay here again when we return! Thanks for everything, Dave!
