Spacious riverside getaway

Spacious, light-filled four bedroom apartment in historic Cahors, perfect for anything from a solo stay, couple, family, or group of friends. The front room, which faces the river, is an open living room, dining room, and kitchen. Each of the four bedrooms is roomy and airy with comfortable new beds and plenty of light. We have a large patio with grill and full-size dining table with a view of the river. We are just steps away from swimming, boating, and fishing, and walking distance to the train station. All the shops, restaurants, cafes, and the outdoor market are within a few-minutes walk. Cahors is brimming with historical sites, including the world historical Pont Valentré. Nearby historic villages and the lively and beautiful city of Toulouse are just a quick drive or train-ride away.

Great place!

This was a great place to stay in Cahors with a good location, tons of space, and easy parking. We enjoyed the patio space as well. The host was very responsive and even called me when we had a question. We enjoyed the town but also used it as a base for day trips.

Thanks for this excellent review Christine. Though we are immediately adjacent to a very peaceful section of the Lot river, with many amenities (like the renowned bi-weekly Cahors market) in easy walking distance, we are in what should be considered an urban environment, daytime traffic little different here than in much of the area. Why they chose this property

Cahors is just the right size for us! We can walk everywhere. We love being on the river and driving around the gorgeous countryside. There's a big swimming pool right across the river, and plenty of options for swimming in the river as well! Toulouse is an exciting city, easy to visit for a day-trip. We're also within a couple hour's drive to both coasts!

What makes this property unique

This apartment is large, airy, and bright. There's plenty of room for everyone! We love the huge patio and the view! The apartment is on the second floor. The first floor is currently empty, but will later become a space for artists.
