Grants Pass is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Valley of the Rogue State Park and Rogue River, while Schmidt House Museum and Grants Pass Museum of Art are cultural highlights.
We loved how clean and cozy the cabin was. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a busy day, and we enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys walking through the property each morning!
My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The house was clean, had everything we needed and the hosts was quick to respond to my messages. We will definitely stay here again!
Everything was great! The place is clean and welcoming. The area is quiet with turkeys and deers visiting. The beds were so comfortable, the pillows were the best. The outside was awesome. Perfect to sit in hot tub and take it all in. Communication with the host was excellent.
Great, well furnished home. Very comfortable for our family of four. Really enjoyed the deer that came to visit in the evening and morning. Thanks for having us!
The cabin was well stocked there were deer and turkeys almost every day in the yard unlike many properties there were cleaning supplies so that I could tidy up throughout the week Kevin was easy to access from town and centrally located allowing for drives to Shasta Mountain Crater Lake Smith River tide pooling on the coast Portland the Redwoods and stores in Medford
Overall great place and quiet location. We are all over 5'10 and the shower wasnt very comfortable in our opinion. The place was clean and well taken care of and decorared nicely. Overall really cute! Just may not be for folks taller than 5'10. Thanks for the great stay overall!
After long hours on the road this cabin was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The Epic A was exactly as described and the only thing that would have made it better would have been extra days. The whole family loved our stay and we hope to be back in the near future!
We stayed three nights and enjoyed our time! The house is close to town but feels like you are in the woods. We loved all the wildlife that came through the property. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed the amenities. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this place for families or two couples.
This home was the perfect location for our getaway. It was conveniently located 2 hours from many popular locations to visit the coast, the redwoods, Mt Shasta, CA, Crater Lake, and many other hiking trails along Rogue River. It also was very private, but also close to groceries, gas, and restaurants. Hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of our long days hiking, livingroom was comfy to relax to a movie, and kitchen fully equiped for our needs. A frame recently renovated, but has a lot of charm. Would rent again if we are ever in the area.
This place was absolutely awesome! Staying at the A-Frame Cabin felt like stepping into a fairytale — a perfect woodsy oasis that offered peace, quiet, and a touch of magic. We loved every minute of it!One of our favorite parts was watching the deer and turkeys that wandered through the yard — such a unique and peaceful experience. The cabin itself was cozy, charming, and beautifully tucked away, making it the ideal place to unplug and relax. We truly loved our stay and can't wait to come back!
We could not have imagined a more perfect place to unwind and celebrate our anniversary. The hosts are thoughtful and quick to respond and they also recommended places to eat! The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was perfectly tucked away without being too far from stores or restaurants and the wildlife was abundant. We would absolutely stay again. What a treat.
Stayed one night in this cozy A frame home. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Stairs to the door could be challenging for some guests. Very responsive host. We would return if our travels bring us back to Grants Pass.
We loved the Epic A! Beautiful Midcentury A frame in a picturesque setting that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a small glitch checking in due to VRBO software and the host was great about getting in touch with us right away even though he was traveling himself. Kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated the shared condiments in the fridge. The deer and wild turkeys were lots of fun to see every day and the outdoor space provided everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. Great hosts and a great space, we would definitely go back!
We absolutely loved our experience! The house was perfectly clean, had excellent decor (my compliments to owners on their light fixture taste :)), and a great location-- feels like the middle of the woods but a short drive to town. We visited nearby wineries and ended the day in the hot tub. Got to see some wildlife, relax in nature, enjoy wine, and unwind. I left my credit card in the house and the owners were kind enough to let me know and quickly mail it to me. Very good communication and so generous to do. Thank you!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
let's be honest
In looking at the photos you would think that you were out in the woods as opposed to overlooking a fairly busy residential road. You would not want to sit out on the deck or the hottub area as it is noisy and not private as you might expect. Unfortunately this is typical of thew whole vacation house rental industry and needs to change and I hope more people will note these deceptive practices and ask for more accurate representations of where they will be spending their limited vacation time.
