The house was very nice, but had a very strong smell of chlorine based cleaners which my wife found overpowering.We loved the quiet location.

Yeah maybe you checked in to the home close to when cleaning took place. Prior rental was the longest term the property has ever had, so in that case extra steps were taken to fully sanitaze property. Also your check-in was the same day prior guests departed, short window.

This is a very nice house, everything you need is there. It was clean and comfortable. Good beds. The screened patio was so enjoyable. There are two giant mango trees in the back yard that contributed to the great breezes. The house isn’t big but was comfortable for two people. We stayed three weeks.
