Relax with family & friends at this peaceful & secluded cabin nestled on the outskirts of Murphy, NC in the Blue Ridge mountains, under 15 mi to Blue Ridge, GA and Ocoee, TN. This charming retreat offers endless hours of relaxation & entertainment, and it is conveniently located near popular local attractions, shopping, and lots of great places to eat! Guests will love the FULL WRAP AROUND PORCH with porch swing, rockers, and 2 dining areas to take in the sites & sounds of nature. There is a propane heater and a BlackStone on the deck so guests can whip up a quick and delicious breakfast or dinner. Be sure to stop by the fully stocked coffee bar for a cup of coffee or cocoa before heading out to enjoy an evening by the fire pit or in front of the fireplace. Families will enjoy the full sized pool table that converts to a ping pong table or large table for playing cards and games, and the 86’ big screen TV. There is a fully stocked kitchen with double oven, perfect for those who love to cook and bake. You and your family will find it easy to make yourselves right at home at our Certainly Heaven Retreat!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
To help our cleaners get the job done efficiently, we ask guests to please complete the following prior to departure. Should excessive cleaning be required, additional cleaning fees will be applied.
Remove all your food items from the refrigerator. Please leave all condiments and cooking essentials that were here upon your arrival (i.e., butter, ketchup, mustard, oil, spices, etc.)
Place all bagged trash in outside cans and leave them at the front gate. If trash is not bagged, charges may be incurred for cleaning service to complete this so that trash service will pick it up.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There are 3 rooms downstairs that are locked. These cleaning and owners closets ;are not to accessible to guests.
Outdoor lantern, Blackstone, fire pit, and fire place not to be operated by kids/teens, and never left unattended. Do not run fireplace overnight.
Please ensure heat is not turned below 60 during winter months to prevent pipes from freezing.

The moment we walked into the cabin, we were truly awed at the beauty of the place. The cabin was tastefully and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was easily accessible to get to and still felt like a hidden gem in the woods. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely book this cabin again.

The cabin was amazing! Very cozy and just made you feel at home. Loved all the decor! Loved that they took the time with all the little extras. It was my dogs first vacation and the puppy loved it!! Amazing Christmas Vacation!

Er Mer Gerd!!!!! This home is ahhhhmazing! Where to begin? The hosts thought of everything! Clean, spacious, comfortable. The coffee bar was so wonderful. Beds were so comfortable. Best porch ever. This property was amazing. The location was perfect for what we needed. The home was very clean and had everything you could need. It was like being at home. The home had all the extras and was stocked with all the necessities and more. My favorite thing was watching the sun come up on the back porch with my morning coffee all snuggled up with the heater on. We even had some deer visit us. The host Heather was amazing and was quick to respond to any questions. We had an amazing time and will be booking again.

Wonderful mountain vacation!!

We had a fantastic time at this property and our family is already discussing when we can go again! Heather is an exceptional and attentive host who definitely has the gift of hospitality. We had a couple minor issues and she went over and above to resolve them. Our son and his wife really enjoyed the sectional and proximity of great hikes and waterfalls. Our daughter’s favorite thing about the cabin was the coffee bar and our pup couldn’t get enough of the wraparound porch. Thank you again for sharing your mountain home with us!

The name fits the property!!!

We've been renting thorough VRBO for years and cannot compare anything else to this property. It was like walking into our home! My wife even said she could make this our forever home and I agreed. Everything from the thoughtfulness in the decorations, the stocked kitchen, the awesome media room downstairs, the seclusion and peacefulness... I could go on and still not do it justice! Heather was awesome to work with as well. Any questions I had were answered immediately. We've never been to the same place twice with our rentals but we both agreed we've finally found a go to!

We are from Florida, but we love to spend as much time as we can at our little slice of heaven. There’s something special about this place and Murphy, it’s like a town right out of the 1950’s, thus why we love to share it with others when we aren’t enjoying it ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We are nestled on the outskirts of Murphy in a very small and secluded neighborhood with large private lots. We love being greeted by the view of Simonds Chapel on the hilltop, which is the perfect landmark as you make the turn off of 64. We love the view of the mountains in the winter and the lush green in the spring and summer. Given our secluded and private location, we often see families of deer on the property. We also enjoy our daily visits from Rojo, our cardinal who likes to look at himself in the mirrors of our vehicles.

What makes this property unique

Some things that we’ve been told make our property unique…first and foremost, we would definitely say the full wrap around porch!! While we do have a few neighbors nearby, we also love how secluded our property is with no other properties in site from anywhere on the property. The very large lower level bonus room with the 86’ TV and sound system is also a guest favorite! We also LOVE cooking on the BlackStone!!
