Experience your ideal San Diego vacation while living luxuriously on Mission Beach! This gorgeous, second-story, beach-front condominium, located in the historic Surf Rider building, provides every modern convenience. Enjoy your private getaway with an unobstructed view of the ocean either from inside the unit or from your own private balcony. You may even be fortunate enough to see the dolphins surfing the waves! When you can no longer fight the urge for surf and sun, the beach is literally steps away. If you feel adventurous and want more than a swim, a sunbathe or a volleyball game, then quickly jaunt around the corner to rent surfboards, jet skis, boats and other recreational equipment or some lessons if you're an ocean sport novice!

After your leisurely days at the beach, you may want to hop into the jacuzzi or cook out on one of the two gas BBQ grills on the shared patio. Or, if you feel like holing up in the comfort of your home away from home, cook yourself a gourmet meal in the beautiful, fully functional kitchen and enjoy it while watching the breathtaking sunset. Afterward, you may wish to curl up and watch TV either in the living room or snuggled up in either bedroom.

If you are interested in seeing more of San Diego than just Mission Beach (although the people watching could entertain you indefinitely), then your Surf Rider condo places you in the heart of all San Diego has to offer. Belmont Park, the San Diego Zoo, Pacific Beach, Coronado, La Jolla, the USS Midway, the Gaslamp District, Sea World, Torrey Pines Golf Course, the Del Mar Racetrack and La Jolla Cove are all quickly and easily accessible to you, as well as numerous restaurants. After each of your long eventful days, the travertine bathrooms welcome you to wash the sea salt away before nestling into one of the cozy beds (a king in the master, queen in the second bedroom, or a full-size convertible bed in the living room) in order to regain your strength for your next amazing California adventure!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
-Bed Linens can be left on the beds -Used Sofa bed linens can be put on the ground next to the washer/Dryer -Wet towels can be hung in either of the bathrooms -Keep track of towels, bring back to unit
-Leave the two sets of keys you found inside the condo where you found them -Use lockbox keys to lock the door and then put them back into the lockbox -Remember to scramble the code.
Please remember to turn off all lights, fans, and electronic equipment. Lock all doors and windows before leaving the condo.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Respect quiet hours of communal areas in complex between 10 pm - 8 am.
Barbecue grills are provided on the premises. No other grills, smokers, fryers, fire pit, or heat sources may be used on the patios or common areas.

The condo was absolutely lovely and provided us with everything we needed for the week we were in San Diego! Such a great location with a great view all day! The kids went to Belmont Park daily and the surfing was great right in front of the condo. We also loved the nightly dip in the community hot tub. Dominique and Simone were very responsive and nice!

The location is amazing! The boardwalk/people watching is so fun to watch. The sunsets are unbelievable. The condo has everything you need if you want to cook/grill/beach chairs, etc. We brought our own soap/shampoo but that was also provided. The management was so responsive with texts/communication. We did find some dirty sheets, to put on the pull out sofa in the cabinet. However, that may have been a previous guest just throwing them back up in the closet. However, there is a washer/dryer in the condo, which we were able to wash those & other laundry we had & they have the detergent right there. We would absolutely stay here again.
