About this property
LOLOMA LODGE - Family Cabin in the Woods
This classic “little log house” was built in 1927, and was the original living quarters while the main lodge was built. Tucked in the trees near the lodge, the master bedroom has one of the best views of all buildings. While in bed, you can watch the fog roll through the heavily treed Lookout Ridge and, when the windows are open, you can hear the river. A cozy upstairs loft has 2 low queen beds, which look up through the skylights to the stars at night.
The space
1 Bedroom with queen bed and a small loft with 2 additional queen floor beds. Full kitchen downstairs and one shared, full bath. Inviting living room with adequate seating, wood-burning stone fireplace, & forest views. A private patio for quiet dinners and an awesome front porch to sip on cocoa and watch the birds.
Guest access
Overnight guests on the property have access to the following & more:
• Staying the night in a beautiful piece of history, the lodge grounds displaying design elements from the 1930's.
• Amazing living room with vaulted ceilings, comfy furniture & majestic fireplace.
• Recent stylish updates enhancing atmosphere and comfort.
• Endless hiking trails that wind through the property, a great garden, and to the McKenzie River.
• Viewing of Pacific Northwest flora & fauna in the heart of the forest & McKenzie River watershed. A short drive to many nearby Oregon hot spring areas.
• Laundry on-site, multiple historic outbuildings & cabins for those who #cabinlove.
• Options for services such as on-site Massage Therapy, Catering, Events, and more (Please call ahead for details & availability)
