The Brandt's Enjoyed

We enjoyed our stay. The property is was clean and near. A lot of space to relax and enjoy inside and out. The tunnel from the basement to one of the many outdoor spaces was cool. We just stayed for a couple days for a nearby wedding. Next time, we'll bring our son and some of is friends as the accomondations are excellent.

Mini vacay

Overall such a beautiful property with such unique features. The weekend we went it was still a little brisk to be able to enjoy the outdoor area. Even with the colder temps it was worth freezing a little to enjoy the view for a while longer. The home itself was updated with modern features while still keeping its own individual personality. Truly this was one of our favorite stays in our trips around Michigan. We would absolutely stay again and hope to when the weather is a bit warmer

Hi! My Husband Rob and I are both ER Nurses. We have 2 young children. We love all things health and wellness and enjoy traveling.

Why they chose this property

Wake up to calm lake views and the sound of birdsong in this peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood. Our home sits on a quiet, residential street with very little traffic—perfect for morning walks, stargazing, or sipping coffee on the deck as the sun rises over the water. The neighbors are kind and respectful, and the overall pace here feels like a breath of fresh air.

What we love most is the blend of nature and convenience—you're tucked away in a serene lakeside setting, yet just 10–15 minutes from everything you need: grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Fenton, and several major hospitals. It's a place where you can truly unwind after work, let the kids run barefoot on the beach, or spend a slow Sunday kayaking and grilling outside.

What makes this property unique

The tunnel! It’s truly one-of-a-kind—hand-dug many years ago with all the cement hand-mixed. It connects the basement directly to a veranda overlooking the lake, making this home both unique and functional.

The space opens up to stunning lake views and includes a custom-built high-top table perfect for working, eating, or relaxing. The railing even features built-in cupholders all along the edge so you can enjoy your coffee—or cocktail—without worrying about spills. It’s a small detail that surprises and delights every guest.
